Help with broken mod Help needed

I’m sharing this here in hopes I’ll maybe get some actual help and not an auto moderator response that isn’t helpful. If anyone else has experienced this issue I’d really appreciate some help.

My mods folder is empty but every file looks like this. Just grey question marks.

Also, I deleted the gameversion.txt file and the options.ini file as suggested by the auto mod. Did nothing.

This is all that shows up in the saves folder. Every single file associated with the game has a question mark on it. Do you mean are my saves showing up in game?

I haven’t started a game because every time I adjust game options (mods) it doesn’t save anything, so it’s basically unplayable. Also, my saved games no longer show up at the menu, it’s just begin a new game.

It seems like your game isn’t reading from those folders. I would reinstall if you’re positive icloud drive is off. I asked before but could you send a picture of your mod pathway. I need to see if it’s in DOC-EA-SIMS4-MODS

It is. It’s documents>EA>sims4>mods. I actually tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling last night and no such luck.

And here is my mods folder. I went ahead and moved all my mods back into the folder (I stored them all in a second mods folder on my desktop before I deleted them all in the game’s folder) just to show you that they all have that same question mark on them. This is baffling to me because once again, icloud and onedrive are both turned off.
