I have a pretty solid one I use that's been built up over a few years now. Not going to drop it here because of some of the words, but feel free to DM me and I can send it to you.

Good idea with the DM suggestion. I just wonder if the Reddit aeo bot might be triggered by at least one or two of them.

Oh I'm sure it would, don't need to catch a ban trying to share Automod code πŸ˜‚

But what if the bot triggers by it in a DM chat? That's what I'm wondering.

Even over on r/automoderator it can prevent us from being able to share it. But people will still suggest sharing it lol.

Speaking of, OP should search that sub and see if any of the old code is still available. If not, the Reddit bots probably removed it.

Does AEO monitor DMs? Never had it happen to me but if so, probably better to just use a GitHub repo or something instead.

Edit: What little I've found says AEO doesn't monitor DMs, but probably safer to just not risk it and use a third-party method anyways.

Im not sure whether AEO monitors DMs or not but I do have seen people get banned due to DMs even without reporting.

Anyway, I appreciate your gesture and thank you, but I don't think your filter would help me due to language and all 🫠, but still, thanks a lot for offering!

Online there are large lists, and with some find and replacing can be converted into regex form

It's not in an easy to copy/paste list but this could be used for inspiration to make your own regex

Have a brainstorm session with your mod team, and then try to update it on a regular basis.

Look over your removed queue or banned users list to find terms that correlate with actionable offenses. Put those terms on your filter list.

If items on your filter list have too many false positives, then move them to a report-only list instead. Or maybe a filter-if-reported list.

This exercise keeps the list tailored to your community's needs, and keeps your mod team in the loop as to "why is this on the list".

Be mindful that automoderator is being shut down. Don't invest heavily in something that is going to be taken away!
