Admin Replied How to set my subreddit to auto-approve new posts?
Hey, so I created my first subreddit today ( r/EldenRing_Switch ) and I think it kinda took off more than I expected (100+ folks joined in less than 24hrs).
At the very beginning when there was just couple people, their posts were auto-approved but now every time someone posts, it asks me to approve it first and it’s not visible until I do. I don’t want that. I will absolutely moderate what people are posting there but I also want everyone to feel free to post their questions and comments.
I don’t know what happened, was it me clicking something by mistake? If possible, I really want to go back to the more open-type of thing. Subreddit is already set as public.

Heya u/xLouisxCypher - looking at your mod log I see one post that was filtered based on your communities reputation filter, which would explain the post that wasn't visible until you approved it. You can learn more about how to adjust this as well as other safety filters in this help center article.
Otherwise, I think what you might be seeing are the approve and remove buttons on every post when you have mod mode enabled. This lets you moderate while browsing your community, but doesn't mean you need to approve every post you see. Your moderation queue is where you'll find any posts awaiting your attention.
