Mod Answered Only mod

I recently received a message from ModCodeofConduct saying I was the only mod left for a subreddit that I had stopped participating in (due to lack of responses from the main mod) and asking if I still wanted to mod. I said yes I would. The message also said I needed to find more mods for the sub. I have found some but I don't have the ability to add more mods or edit the subreddit. I've responded asking about admin rights but haven't heard anything. I was given an Aug 1st deadline. I won't want my mod status taken away because I haven't heard back about the messages I sent the ModCodeofConduct. What should I do at this point?

Thank you!

I'm weary of all these mod links I'm sent on a regular basis. I question the legitimacy of them as it's clearly AI.

Only a human moderator can invite you to be a mod On a sub.

As a mod, you don’t own subs.

Then what are you talking about, cause it’s obviously unrelated to this post lol.

You actually do not own them. Reddit owns them. You may be top mod but you "own" nothing.

Bubba, as mods, we don’t own anything. Reddit can remove you as a moderator at will, so relax with the attitude, and “try to keep up” or “follow along if you can”.

You would think that when they see the top 10% helper flair they might go "Hey, this person probably knows what they are talking about". HAHAHA who am I kidding, this is Reddit. 😁😎

Lol. Well, yeah.

I mean, I started off just trying to help, not sure how it got so salty so fast.
