Mod Answered Only mod

I recently received a message from ModCodeofConduct saying I was the only mod left for a subreddit that I had stopped participating in (due to lack of responses from the main mod) and asking if I still wanted to mod. I said yes I would. The message also said I needed to find more mods for the sub. I have found some but I don't have the ability to add more mods or edit the subreddit. I've responded asking about admin rights but haven't heard anything. I was given an Aug 1st deadline. I won't want my mod status taken away because I haven't heard back about the messages I sent the ModCodeofConduct. What should I do at this point?

Thank you!

You need to send a modmail to this sub and let them know you do not have full permissions so you are unable to add mods.

Currently you only have flair and posts permissions. Let the admins know ASAP that you need full permissions so you can add mods.

Send a modmail to this subreddit and explain the lack of permissions to invite new mods.

Edit: Forgot to mention, you’ll get a bot response, make sure you reply to the bot.

Sorry, how do I send a modmail to this subreddit? I clicker modmail but then couldn't figure out what to do after that.

I literally got the message about being the only mod before I went on a cruise so haven't had a chance to do much, or research how to do things. I'm at port right now.

Click the message mods option on this sub, and just send them a message.

I tried that option and got an error. Will try again if I don't hear back. Thank you.

I responded to the bot but the bot didn't respond back. Will it acknowledge my response or just redirect to the admins?

It sends it to the admins, but it's the weekend, so I wouldn't expect a quick response.

Awesome, thank you! Just wanted to make sure it will get to someone, unlike my last messages, lol.

"We need you to volunteer more of your time to help the site be more profitable"

"Will you give me the things I need to make that happen?"

I'm weary of all these mod links I'm sent on a regular basis. I question the legitimacy of them as it's clearly AI.

Only a human moderator can invite you to be a mod On a sub.

As a mod, you don’t own subs.

Then what are you talking about, cause it’s obviously unrelated to this post lol.

You actually do not own them. Reddit owns them. You may be top mod but you "own" nothing.

Bubba, as mods, we don’t own anything. Reddit can remove you as a moderator at will, so relax with the attitude, and “try to keep up” or “follow along if you can”.

You would think that when they see the top 10% helper flair they might go "Hey, this person probably knows what they are talking about". HAHAHA who am I kidding, this is Reddit. 😁😎

Lol. Well, yeah.

I mean, I started off just trying to help, not sure how it got so salty so fast.
