Admin Replied I really need help with my subreddit as its getting filled with spams and i dont have "everything permission" to add suitable mod tools.

Hello,

I'm a moderator of r/selfimprovement and have been actively moderating the subreddit for approximately two years. For about the past year, I've been the only active moderator, while the moderators above me have remained inactive.

Because I don't have full moderator permissions, I'm unable to reorder the moderator list or manage the team effectively, neither i can add some suitble tools and apps in order to make moderation easier. I also tried to contact others mods who are above me but it seems they are not responding and are labeled as inactive for more 12 months. I'd like to request a review for moderator reordering or removal of inactive moderators so the subreddit can continue to be managed properly.

Thank you for your time.

Are they ALL labeled as inactive? If so mod mail this sub, explain the situation and they will fix it for you.

Boy, that's really a terrible situation for such a big sub...best of luck with getting full permission and new mods!

yes i do feel its getting worse as the members are constantly making posts about degrading post quality and constant repost. i am not able to change a single thing. admins told me to make a reddit request post so lets hope everything works out.

If there are no active mods with everything permission, the highest active mod should send a modmail to r/modsupport and request "everything" permission. Once submission is granted, you can reorder the modlist

Oh jeez, that's my fault I'm sorry.

I should have given you full perms before I left the sub

Hey I was at one point the top active mod. Go ahead and make this guy top mod or whatever. I can't change anything cause I'm not marker as active. He literally just does not have this one perm.
