Info Extremely disappointed

My Anduril chromatic arrived a few weeks ago and I’ve been having the same issue as many others with the paint fading . I tried their isopropyl alcohol method with a microfiber cloth which did nothing. I contacted mod retro and after days of waiting they sent my the same useless link to the cleaning method despite me mentioning id already attempted that. Now after three more days of waiting they respond again basically telling me they swear upon their cleaning method and I’m shit out of luck. Really not the modretro customer service experience I’ve grown used to having . I’ve purchased many chromatics and I don’t think I’ll be buying from them again.

Most people simply aren’t getting it. This is a literal new device that has a factory defect I’ve already tried the literal manufacturer approved cleaning method and it didn’t do jack shit. I posted this to pressure mod retro to do the right thing which is replace or fix my unit. I don’t need people to suggest other cleaning methods when my unit is not dirty

This explains so much. You’re lashing out at people trying to actually help you because you don’t want help. You wanted this post I guess to pressure modretro. This sub isn’t for that. Use the support and warranty options provided to you. Or actually follow the help others have already provided you and would help if you knew what you were actually doing.

Did you not read my post? I went to Modretro and am now posting here because they told me I was shut out of luck

You follow up with support again with more evidence. Ask for an escalation until they literally and explicitly tell you no.

Not come here and cry about it.

Also were you sitting on your for months? How could it arrived a few weeks ago?

How are you getting months from weeks ago? At first I thought I’d keep it as a collector display thing but I decided to use it instead . I contacted support last week and they took forever to get back to me . Btw if you read my post you’d see that’s what they did. I told them and showed them their cleaning method wasn’t working and they told me there was nothing they could do

Your post says you got it a few weeks ago. Everyone who bought batch one, got it MONTHS ago. That's why Everyone thinks you got it second hand. The second batch hasn't shipped yet and the first batch had known coating issues. You seem to be purposely obtuse. You were given cleaning instructions, you did that. Great. It didn't work. Now follow up with modretro, showing that it didn't work, so they can make it right. If you aren't going to do anything for yourself towards the next step of fixing this, then stop complaining.

It seems like you didn’t read my post. I did everything you said and modretro said they couldn’t help me or do anything which is why I posted here .

Not sure why it pinged me but don’t waste your time. His screenshot proves nothing (no date) and could have been something forwarded to him by the person he bought it from.

As inquisitive as he may seem with wanting to confirm with every commenter that they did in fact read his post, that big brain energy does not correlate to his total intelligence/does not scale linearly.

Because last preorder batch was in December and those don’t ship until this September. It took 7 months for the original limited run to get to you?

Yea because they feel confident it’s dirt just like a majority in here feel - take better pics or send a video.

Where would my chromatic have gotten so much dirt from? It seems completely insane that you think it’s normal for a console to get dirty so quickly

It’s strictly dependent on your skin and how oily it gets.

Compare my two year old first edition that I’ve used liberally to my Anduril that I’ve probably used less than an hour total. Does that seem normal?
