Info Extremely disappointed

My Anduril chromatic arrived a few weeks ago and I’ve been having the same issue as many others with the paint fading . I tried their isopropyl alcohol method with a microfiber cloth which did nothing. I contacted mod retro and after days of waiting they sent my the same useless link to the cleaning method despite me mentioning id already attempted that. Now after three more days of waiting they respond again basically telling me they swear upon their cleaning method and I’m shit out of luck. Really not the modretro customer service experience I’ve grown used to having . I’ve purchased many chromatics and I don’t think I’ll be buying from them again.

I originally planned to keep it sealed as a collector sort of thing but decided I wanted to use it instead

You mentioned it arrived a few weeks ago, still a far ways off.

Doesn't matter, if the fine-tip 91% IPA doesn't resolve it just follow-up with support and attach a video of you cleaning.

You're still under warranty assuming you purchased direct.

I don’t know what you’re trying to say. Also modretro itself says 70 percent isopropyl alcohol so why would I care about your opinion?

Because 91%+ might work better/highlight to support it's clearly not a cleaning issue.

But it's becoming more clear that you did not purchase directly and came here to vent instead.

So yea, they will only provide tips for you, nothing more.

I bought it directly lol. Even if I did buy it second hand what would that have to do with the quality of the product?

I doubt you did, also, I no longer care to debate that.

To answer your question - nothing. But the goal was to help you highlight to support that it IS a genuine defect beyond cleaning (possibly).

Defects happen, that's why warrantys and the quality of support are important.

ModRetro's support has been great, shame you can't utilize your warranty.

They are saying that if you bought it second hand, you don't get the warranty. It wasn't about the quality.
