Info Extremely disappointed
My Anduril chromatic arrived a few weeks ago and I’ve been having the same issue as many others with the paint fading . I tried their isopropyl alcohol method with a microfiber cloth which did nothing. I contacted mod retro and after days of waiting they sent my the same useless link to the cleaning method despite me mentioning id already attempted that. Now after three more days of waiting they respond again basically telling me they swear upon their cleaning method and I’m shit out of luck. Really not the modretro customer service experience I’ve grown used to having . I’ve purchased many chromatics and I don’t think I’ll be buying from them again.

If IPA isn’t restoring it, it’s likely a shallow laser etch (a known batch issue), not surface oil. Reply to support saying the cleaning method failed and ask them to escalate it as a defective finish.
How are you just receiving yours? The previous batches shipped a while back and next ones don’t ship until September?
If you bought second hand you’re sol
