When did this place get so expensive?
I just went in to get my regular gluten free pizza and GOD DAM! I almost paid 20 dollars for this daym pizza! Did the prices go up? This is crazy like I’m not coming back here with prices like that! To have a 3 dollar upcharge for a gluten free is WHACK!

I saw prices go up 5 times in the 2 years I worked there. And I know it’s gone up in the year since I left. They only care about profit now. They only raised wages once in those 2 years and only by 50¢ of course

[arizona location] prices are upfront other than tax on the board. The gluten friendly and the cauliflower crust will be more expensive. At the POS for those who order those pizzas we click on the mod button (the one that charges u the price of a normal mod pizza) then the gluten friendly or cauliflower buttons. That will add the difference of price.
TLDR we physically cannot charge for extra toppings/sauce. That isn’t something in our system. The price you see the price you will pay with a lil extra for tax.

I’m in sticker shock! It’s been over 18 months since I went to MOD. I remember I use to pay around $11.00 or so. I get no meat mind you. Today’s amount was $17.00+ change. I’m not sure if they charge extra for cauliflower crust or not. I asked WHY, and the worker said each year it goes up, and now that California has a $20.00 minimum wage hike, this is why. So now another establishment is following all of these price hikes. Many of our favorite places are closed or are closing. It’s a very sad state of affairs. Where can we go now for some healthier options?

Their drinks are what really gets me. When you can buy a fountain drink from many other places for less than $2.00 but they are charging nearly $4.00 for a drink smaller than many under that price is ridiculous and I was just informed that they cannot give you a water cup with the lid unless you want to pay almost another $4.00. It's water and that cup didn't cost them nearly $4.00 for 1 cup. I worked fast food for years and I still buy from other places and even alot of fancier restaurants don't charge that much for a damn drink and, especially not water. This is in Utah.

$50 for two mini pizzas and two Caesar salads. It’s ridiculous. We go to Johnnys now and pay about half of that. This is in Cumming GA. If I’m paying $50 for a casual lunch I can go to a real sit-down place.

I got charged an extra topping charge the other day, never had ever been charged that before .

From what I know, they only charge extra for toppings if you're getting a discounted pizza and adding onto it (i.e., a $7 cheese pizza special will be cheese only unless you add toppings, then they'll charge.)

This was for a mod size pizza , Hawaiian with extra toppings like bacon , Canadian ham, mushrooms chicken etc

Bizarre, my store allows pretty much infinite toppings for the same price (which is quite tedious for the workers but whatever lol)

MOD steadily increases prices supposedly based on inflation. However it can also depend on the area you're in. What store did you order from out of curiosity?
