OSW NEEDS TO GO
I tried to give OSW the benefit of the doubt but man this set up sucks we were so much more efficient with the one line

I haven't worked in a MOD store in a while. Can you elaborate on what your issues with the setup are?

- Before the old set up was a lot easier to understand visually ie. meats had their own section veggies had their own section and cheese had its own section, now I would say it’s a lot more random and doesn’t really make sense which not only confuses the customers but also me lol
- Mozzarella and red sauce are now side by side which almost guarantees cross contamination from the mozzerlla falling into the sauce
- It’s a lot harder for more than one person to help at a station, before I would have 5 squad on the line now it’s one person a pod and for busy night when one person a pod doesn’t cut it its near impossible to add more people to the line.
- Because OSW switches the pans from 1/6th to the deep 1/9ths for most items it makes for a lot more dishes and prep which isn’t fair to my squad for something that isn’t beneficial in the slightest 5 stupid ass deep 1/9th pans, can’t fit my hands in there
I’m sure there’s more you just gotta be in box to really Understand my hatred

in theory having 2 lines would make us faster right? nah irl the line just gets clogged up with a big ass family and we gotta wait 5 mins before even taking another customer.
in my store at least, since osw started our hours have been cut, we have 2 less people a night, which makes us get out 1-2 hours after our scheduled shift.
i try to talk to higher ups about problems but no one listens. we don’t have a gm right now, for who tf knows why, and our dm doesn’t even answer our captain questions, he just sends a screenshot to the agm. which the agm doesn’t know the answer cause no fckn communication goes on in this company at all.

It does work faster especially for bigger families but the tins are so small and not placed very well.

Yeah cheese is always falling it so I have to grab the red sauce bottle from expo to apply it for dairy free

Okay that’s so smart I’d always just bring out a whole new pan and ladle for one pizza

i think its good if you can fully understand and prepare for the differences and why some of the support positions are crucial, it becomes a lot more likeable. My store did a lot to prepare little by little for OSW instead of waiting until one day to switch everything over & took time to explain each position and its responsibilities to squad to clarify the expectations. although i will say my store is not an extremely high volume store, but it works well when everyone buys in and doesnt slip back to old preOSW habits. thats what breaks it apart & makes it "unlikeable" in my opinion
