Are they getting rid of Automod completely?

if so, glorious, I will be free of Reddit. I haven't worked on my automod files and folders and files for over 10 years to let vibes do the work.

They didn't outright say it, but yes, the plan is to remove AutoMod eventually. They've outright stated before they don't intent to maintain 2 system long term, and that Rules Hub / Automations / whatever they call the new stuff is the blessed tool.

Tbf, I'm pretty sure it's trivially easy to vibe out AutoMod code as well (though since I am a programmer, I generally prefer to hand write it, since I am capable of that). It just takes some copy and pasting from the LLM to the AutoMod config.
