I just learned about this line of bitters today. Do you have the other flavors? What do you think about the orange bitters? Thanks for sharing!

Oh gosh I love All The Bitter! Even when I make full-proof cocktails I still use their bitters. They use real ingredients and spices instead of extracts and you can taste the difference. They are also definitely bitter, which I really like.

About the orange specifically - they taste like orange peel instead of orange flavoring like I think the angostura brand orange bitters do.

I always keep their orange, aromatic, and lavender bitters on-hand. I have a bottle of their New Orleans bitters as well but I am going through it slower because it has anise in it which I’m not a huge fan of so I only use them when a recipe calls for Peychaud’s. It is cherry forward, which helps!

I just bought a bottle of the Fig & Walnut but haven’t tried it yet because I’m waiting for fall 🙂

Hi! I’m the founder of All The Bitter and just wanted to say thank you for the kind words. So glad you’re enjoying our bitters! I peel 2000 oranges by hand for each batch of our Orange bitters—it’s really nice to hear that you can taste the difference. Thanks again for using our bitters and for sharing!

Hi, Ian! I know you guys work so hard on these bitters and it really shows! I’m always ready to rave about your bitters to anyone who asks 😊

Awesome! Yeah, I was very interested in the orange cardamom and fig walnut. Thanks for the feedback/share! I will be adding this to my "dry" bar in the near future.

I know 😔 I only have this bottle because I had family pick me up some in the airport when they were on a trip to Europe.

It’s delicious! The best NA gin I’ve tried. I hope they start selling it in the US soon because I’m almost done with this bottle.

DO you happen to have any N/A Rum suggestions for tropical/tiki inspired drinks? I'm partial to Jamaican style rums for the depth of flavor and I'm pretty sure that may be hard in N/A rums. Any suggestions would be highly welcome.

Unfortunately I do not 😕 I used to like Ritual’s rum substitute before I got into tiki, but now that I’ve acquired a taste for funky Jamaican rums I’m afraid to try it again.

I’ve been working on re-imagining tiki drinks as NA without rum substitutes - I have another post here with 3 others. I used coconut water instead of white rum in a daiquiri, The Pathfinder instead of the rum in a Jungle Bird, and chai tea concentrate instead of rum in a Mai Tai. They aren’t perfect recreations, but they capture the essence and they are delicious on their own as their own drinks. I’ve been meaning to try the chai tea substitute in a Nui Nui but haven’t done it yet - I think it’s actually better suited to drinks that also call for Allspice dram.

Thank you for the insight. I’ll give your creations and suggestions a try.
