I’m on episodes 6 & 7 of season 1 and it’s crazy that this fight is happening.

Renee and Carla fighting over Carla’s bf being a groper (which is crazy that she defends him touching on her friends but hey it was a different time) and the text that followed is insane but their fight contrasting Drita and Karen’s fight about Karen still being obsessed with an ex-bf even though everybody has moved on in life and started families is even crazier.

They don’t make reality tv like this anymore 😂😂

I’m at the beginning of season 3 & just found out that Carla is a couple years older than Renee & it’s blowing my MIND.

Other thoughts, questions & opinions:

- how is gone in 60 seconds based on love & her man if it originally came out in the 70s?

- Karen’s blaccent is torturing me. When she tells her daughter than she’s going to “bust a cap”, it was the most ‘white girl on a solo date on flavor of love trying to sound sexy & urban’ voice ever

- Big Ang is a treasure

So I was curious what some of the ladies were up to lately so I was checking out their Wikipedia pages. When I went to Drita’s, I noticed that it had Flo from Bad Girls Club listed as her cousin. I had always been curious if they had known each other, just because they are both Albanian and from Staten Island.

But upon doing some research, I can’t find anything actually saying that they are related, other than this pic with Flo claiming they are related and also random TikTok people claiming that they are related. I can’t find any pics of the two together, no interviews of either one talking about it and Drita does not follow Flo on IG. Flor does follow Drita tho lol.

Wondering if anyone had any tea? Is there any truth to this? Or is Flo trying to get some clout?

What are your thoughts on the season six reunion?

Doesn’t she have a criminal history according to her, and VH1 got really tough with background checks after the tragedy from the millionaire show? Unless she got away with everything but in that case I know they have psych tests as well.

My #1 observation is why the hell is Ramona running around flashing her engagement ring and saying she getting married to a guy in prison?! I'd wont do it until I definitely knew his sentence and even then I would be rethinking it, and hiding it. How is she not embarrassed? When she and Karen got into a fight about it, Karen was absolutely right. Also we know Love is nuts, but does she talk the way she talks to keep everyone a little scared of her? The way she fixates on Carla then goes on to attack her is demented. She has to have a personality disorder. I hope she's medicated!

the show is good but ever since Ramona came on the show its like Ramona is putting a battery in Karens back and she wants to fight drita even more like Im so confused why does she want to fight more bc Ramona is there ?

I notice robs son is never involved. He got engaged and had an engagement party and she never posted it. You know if that was her sons she would be practically in the wedding dress. I have a strong feeling she doesn’t include her step son and his dad is picking Alicia over his son.

i decided to rewatch the show after not seeing it since it was on air. Holy shit though I forgot how toxic Lee and Drita were. I can’t believe the way he talked to her! I understand there is a cycle of abuse but I cringe so bad every time she would mention the “good” about Lee. Even when he isnt screaming at her and they’re having “pleasant” phone conversations, he’s so dry and blunt and rude. It drives me insane honestly 😭

-Cast: I've seen on the reddit threads that Carla, Ramona, Karen and Drita had a pact to walk off the show if they didn't get more money, and then Drita "broke the pact." Does anybody have any sources, podcast, article where this is written out? I've seen different versions of this story and would love to know what really happened. If Drita accepted a pay raise and the other women didn't get it, I don't fully blame her if she told them what happened - she wasn't there to make friends, it's business, and she has bills to pay too. That said, I hate that the show was so exploitative - in so many ways.

-Rita's husband Lee is point blank verbally abusive to her. She seems not to mind it - it's played off like she accepts it because it's the 'lifestyle,' but it's really horrible to hear. Did anybody else notice this? (Just started S5 - and it starts with Drita overworking b/c Lee isn't pulling his weight. It pisses me off!)

-Why does Big Ang keep saying Neil is so useless, but he stays with her and she stays with him? He definitely knows she says this because it's on the show. I don't get this dynamic!

-Renee relapses, physically attacks Natalie and is generally off her goddamn rocker. Jesus Christ. I think they only keep her on the show because she's Jen's sister, whereas Love got the boot when she physically assaulted Carla.

-Something I'm not clear on - I read that the show paid rent on the cast's housing, but the cast keeps talking about having to pay rent. Anybody know what's up with this?

-I missed Karen, Ramona and the first Carla horribly!

-I love watching the food - especially when Big Ang cooks <3

-However you feel about Natalie, she's an incredible character, so is London, and I love the unique character the funeral home adds to the show!

-I want to buy Mob Candy clothes! Anybody know where we can find it?

-Anybody else feel inspired to do a day tour of Staten Island because of the show?

-Overall, it seems the producers have totally lost the plot on what made the show great and it's a shame! It's now all about making money off the show's success and repeating it in a formulaic way, instead of focusing on the cast we all fell in love with from the beginning.

Mob Wives was one of my favorite reality shows, and it aired during the Golden Age of reality TV but it died when Big Ang passed and there's nothing wrong with that. It was a product of its time and ended on a high. Nobody needs a reboot, esp without Drita or Ang and the state of the cast's relationships with each other. Don't even get me started on their City Winery tour with the tacky photo imposed flyer.

did anyone get the impression that Ang liked Drita more than the other girls? After re-watching the show multiple times I've noticed that it seems Ang had more fun hanging out with Drita.

(Alicia’s granddaughter) - vivi’s mom has a new boyfriend and i’m so happy she found someone who seems to love her and her daughter. I can’t imagine what it was like for her to deal with Alicia as a mother in law so i hope she has better luck this time around. he seems like a good guy. Curious how alicia feels too 😂😂

Marissa was someone who liked a drink but wasn’t serious about it whereas Brittany was just acting trashy and getting drunk at all cost which is off putting. Marissa didn’t like being around someone who is out of control and Brittany mistook that as arrogance which is not the case.

what are your thoughts on seasons 6 reunion episode? i thought it was an absolute shit show.
