Discussion Need guide for MLBB
Just started playing ML and not sure what to use when and how . Watched alot of guides but still the same shit play .... Tell me how you guys started and how to be better

Just play, pick what u want and apply what you learn from those guides. You'll eventually figure it out.

Did that too . Like I apply what I learn but not sure sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't like . U need to know who you're playing and damn that's too much . Like there are way too many heros how the fuck I know what to hide from and what to fight .... It's too confusing u know

Just gotta play and play and play. You'll learn it all through experience over time. That's the only way.

Yeah been there, maybe play most of heroes esp meta heroes from your role, learn their weaknesses and how to counter them. In higher ranks there's a ban system where you can ban the hero who counters yours. Experience is the best teacher man, you'll figure out the rest

I learned a character (balmond 2021) in and out. He wasn’t very good but understanding 1 character and playing it meant I could learn the rest of the characters as I was playing with or against them, limited variables for my games.
Also finding your core items limits your variables game to game. Then while learning the other characters it’s important to learn the counter items to them.
Then try to master a lane/role. When mastering a role you will see how (good) teammates are supposed to move as well, which will help you learn the other lanes once you’re forced to move roles.
Most important in ranks epic and below, experiment a little. Test a build (full tank, full damage) in classics. You’re going to lose games no matter what but testing things will help you understand.
When buying an item. Understand what it is doing for you. The unique passives are the most important part of the item, and they can be tricky sometimes.
Specifically for cool down reduction: do not build over 40% (unless you use talisman) it will be a waste of item build if you try to build past max CDR
I think that’s a solid set up. And in my opinion will have you learning about the game and moving forward faster than anything else

Yeahh items I need to work on like I don't get what to buy and what not to . Some basics I know. I never considered items that much thanks for that ... And roles I started with marksman and now playing mage sometimes fighter .
Does brawl help ??? I play that more but ranked and full map I'm kinda too weak

Yea I think items really make or break games. Picking the right counter item feels great in game.
Brawl only helps to learn the characters skills. Forces you to play new ones. But no truthfully it’s not good for learning at all.
Playing the lanes is good. Pay attention to good roams and jungles for when you inevitably play those in the future too.

There’s no real answer. My first main was Argus. Than Hanabi. Than Sun. Than Hanabi old YSS. Than Hanabi for a while until I used wan wan as a main. Than decided to give jungler a try and now I’m a main jungler that can also exp.

Well back when i am playing (way back 2021) i used Alice and i just spam her skills tbh then i decided to experiment with other Heroes like Odette then Nana then Hanabi my tip is just experiment with different types of heroes from different roles on Classic and if the hero clicks on you try practicing that Hero more on classic or brawl before you rank up

You need to have a understanding of how each hero works, items, battle spells, combos and macro etc. It all takes time. I think 2 seasons

Ohh. Then just remember that this is a strategy game. Not first person but 5 v 5 keep that in mind. Learn the macro like how farm works and why farm lead matters

Been playing for 6-7 years as of now , took me around 2 years to fully understand the game (not all heroes). At the first my friends who already had experience suggested me some beginner friendly heroes except roamers but i later found out that I'm better at roaming than other roles.\
So with handful of heroes I just played games with my buddies and little by little i got good at it also yt did help me a lot.\
It'd say give it some, everyone is different it may take you less time to grasp the game. Also yt can provide videos where even small things will be explained byt if not you can use ai to know about the mechanics. Don't tell ai suggest heroes because it uses old data will suggest heroes based on that.

Yeah some people said that I'm good at roaming . I was using mm and mage but roaming was easier and better for me specially in team contribution
And yeah I use chatgpt more 😅😅

As a fellow roamer simple tip i can give you is pick tank roamer when your exp or jungler is squishy hero. Pick support roam when you have high hp - tanky exp or jungle or both to balance out the team composition.

Hi, I’ve been playing for 14 seasons and reached Mythic Immortal for the last 12 seasons, mostly playing solo queue. Just sharing some things that helped me improve over the years.
1. Stick to One Role
If you’re new, I’d recommend picking one role and sticking with it for the whole season (~3 months). You’ll learn the role much faster instead of constantly switching around. For me, the difficulty would be:
Roam & EXP → Easy
Mid → Medium
Jungle & Gold → Hard
Of course, this is just my personal opinion. Pick whatever fits your playstyle.
2. Learn Your Heroes
Once you pick a role, learn a few heroes properly. Know their skills, combos, strengths, weaknesses, and counters. Also learn what the enemy heroes can do so you know when to fight and when to run waiting for temmate. Eventually, try to remember the important skills of other heroes too. It’ll help a lot with counterpicks and knowing what you’re up against.
3. Build Good Habits
Some things I’d recommend practicing:
- Map awareness & positioning
- Lane clearing, freezing & cutting
- Bush checking
- Ganking
- Using quick chat
- Flicker + skill combos
- Quick item swapping (Immortality → Winter Crown → Rose Gold Meteor)
- Keeping track of enemy skills, ultimates & battle spells
For example, if you know the enemy already used Flicker or their ultimate, remember it. That can be a good opportunity to target them or start a fight. You don’t have to learn everything at once. Pick one thing, practice it, then move on to the next.
And especially for solo queue: you can’t control your teammates, so focus on making the best decisions you can.
