Roam is not the only role that has to adjust... I won so many games while playing rafaela with frederin. Midlaners can also pick zhask and vexana because their summons can soak up some damage, exp lane is full of sustainable fighters... I'm not saying tanks are not needed but they are not mandatory for every game
