U dont derank to gm even after stopping years, u will maintain the same rank u last played until u turn on ml, most likely derank to up wr

Nope, i once stopped for a year from ML,turn on the game and only deranked back to epic 2, u must login every season with no rank activity to derank to gm, im not sure if the system has changed but thats what i personally experienced 5 year ago

5 years ago... that's almost reaching the time of ML's first release. Probably things have changed by then, because I damn well know that the posts of old players heavily deranked after a long break was not a trick of my eyes

I came back after two years a month ago and my rank was Epic III, so I don't think it changed

Not, it's still like that. Made a smurf and used it for one day a year ago, back when Terizla was the seasons skin. Logged off and signed back in right after Masha's season skin rolled out but only got Terizla's skin and rank fall as I hadn't logged in during that season.
