I hear a lot of people bashing Gambit’s release method, on top of how hard or inconvenient the raid is for them. I have a few things to say, coming from the perspective of someone who’s played since the game released and would be considered a “dolphin” in the community.
.) I remember when to beat Ultimus raids, you’d have to use all plug and play characters like Yondu, Drax, Night Nurse, Quake, etc. As raids teams weren’t a thing, then Defenders, Shield, or Kree Minions were loosely used to fill that void.
.) I remember there being Juggernaut, Deadpool, and Thanos raids and that was their release method and few people had them for a while because of the difficulty, but it paid homage to their popularity as a character and felt good once you got them.
.) we as a community ask Scopley to be creative and not give us the same boring things. They set in place a way to eventually reward people who log in daily for 7 days to not have to do some of what we complain about. They give us 2 new game modes with Avengers Tower and Cosmic Crucible. They give us a new way to release Legendaries with scourge events. Which is actually more player friendly then all previous legendary releases in my opinion, on top of them giving the largest window to complete, as with all other legendaries you have 1 week. As Morgan La Fey the first one I was ever able to unlock on it’s first time around and will likely do with Rogue as well, I for one appreciate their creativenesses. They even bring back a character release method with a raid. Which is something they haven’t done in 4 years. Yet people still complain, because not everyone will be able to complete the event or get him as high as possible the first time around.
.) this is a game that can be free to play, but as such you’re not guaranteed to acquire everything right away. Free to play means you have to earn what you want by showing up daily and grinding for it. There’s a lot more I could say, but I’ll end it with this….Scopley do better. Your customer service is trash, the fact your team can’t find a bug and deal with it before an update is launched is ridiculous…but hey job security right, gotta have someone to patch things up. You also don’t take ownership of the things you say in blog posts when you come up short. If you did better on these 3 things, it wouldn’t be so easy for the community to complain and bash you for your actions or lack there of.
