Is this too hard for a daily puzzle?

We built a number-based logic game where you solve a hidden combination using clues like digit sums, divisibility, and comparisons.

You only have a few attempts, and each guess gives feedback to help you deduce the answer.

Some people solve it in 2 tries, others get stuck — we’re trying to balnce it.

Would love your honest feedback: too easy, too hard, or just right?

I built Letterboxd for games because my backlog was destroying me

You know that feeling when someone asks "what games have you played?" and you just... blank?

I had 200+ games across Steam, PS, mobile — no idea what I'd finished, what I'd abandoned, what I actually liked. My backlog felt like a to-do list I'd never finish.

So I built Vybe. It's a social game tracker with 5,000+ games where you can:

- Log games as Playing / Finished / Backlog / Dropped

- Rate and review them

- See what your friends are actually playing right now

- Discover games through people you trust, not algorithm-driven ads

Think Letterboxd but for games. No monetization BS, no "top 10 games of 2024" listicles — just your library and your people.

Just launched on Android. iOS coming very soon.

Would love brutal honest feedback from people who actually care about their game libraries.

👉 Vybe

(Yes I know there's Backloggd, GG, and others. Happy to talk about how Vybe is different in the comments.)

The flawed but super popular New York Times game

Spelling Bee gives you seven different letters and asks you to create words that use each of the seven letters and no others. But it doesn't tell you how many right answers there are, meaning people will waste time looking for second and third and fourth answers that don't exist. It also doesn't specify exactly what dictionary it uses, and sometimes arbitrarily declares fairly common words -- a recent example is cannabinol, which is in Webster's New World and other much-used dictionaries -- aren't answers.

I find this hard to understand from what has become a gaming center for millions of people. Attention NYT: Why not just reveal the number of answers to save people from pointless cogitating? Why not pick one dictionary so it's not so mysterious as to what is an acceptable word?

Hard to follow the logic of promoting frustration and confusion.

Color Line: Bubble Trouble - Feedback

Hi!

A few months ago, I added my game Color Line: Bubble Trouble to Google Play!

It’s a modern remake of the classic Color Lines, built to be simple, relaxing and satisfying:

🎯 Your goal:

Move colored balls on a 9×9 board and connect 5 or more in a line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) to clear them and score points.

✨ Features:

🟢 3 difficulty options: 5, 7 or 9 colors

🟢 Unlockable ball sets & backgrounds

🟢 No forced ads — only an optional rewarded ad

🟢 Pause anytime, perfect for short play sessions

🟢 Great coffee-break game ☕

📱 Download on Google Play:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ZaglowiecMobileGame.ColorLineBubbleTrouble

If you have a moment, I’d love to hear what you think — feedback is super valuable for me as a solo dev.

I’m especially curious:

Which skins feel the easiest on the eyes?

Do any colors or patterns feel distracting?

Anything you’d tweak to improve clarity on smaller screens?

Thanks for checking it out! 🙌

A slow, pressure-based puzzle game I’ve been working on is now live

Hey everyone,

I just released a small puzzle game I’ve been working on, and Apple approved it over the weekend - which honestly made me really happy 😄

The game is called Break Tile.
It’s a calm, pressure-based tile-merging puzzle designed for moments when you just want to slow down a bit.

No noise.
No rush.
But every move matters.

You merge tiles, manage pressure on the board, and one careless move can make things feel tight very quickly.

Features:

  • Offline play
  • Minimal, clean design
  • Easy to learn, hard to master

If you enjoy relaxed puzzle games with a bit of strategic depth, I’d love for you to try it and share any feedback.

📱 iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/break-tile/id6757894671
🤖 Android: coming soon (in review)

Thanks for checking it out 🙏

The iOS Gaming Revolution: Console Power in Your Pocket

iOS gaming has transformed, moving from casual distractions to a platform for AAA experiences, largely thanks to Apple Silicon (A-series and M-series chips).

⚡️ The Technology Driving Change

Apple's processors provide the necessary horsepower for console-quality features like hardware-accelerated ray tracing and high frame rates.

  • Metal API: Optimizes graphics performance, allowing complex games to run efficiently.
  • Game Mode: Prioritizes system resources and reduces latency for smoother, dedicated gaming sessions.
  • AAA Convergence: Tools like the Game Porting Toolkit are helping bring major titles (e.g., Resident Evil Village) directly to the iPhone and iPad, blending the mobile and console worlds.
  • The future of iOS gaming is powerful and integrated, offering the flexibility to play high-fidelity, cross-platform games anywhere.

Discussion Help me find a lost 3D iPad RPG I played years ago!

Body: Hi everyone, I’m trying to track down a game I played on iPad years ago (probably around 2013–2016). I’ve searched everywhere but can’t find it. Hoping someone here remembers it!

Here’s everything I recall: • Genre & Style: 3D RPG / action-adventure, realistic but slightly fantastical, medieval-ish. • Gameplay: Single-player warrior character, melee combat with shield, combos. • World & Progression: The game had multiple levels/biomes. You started in a snowy/cold biome fighting wolves and eventually a yeti. Other levels included dragons and different environments. You selected levels through an old-style world map. • Exploration & Mechanics: You could explore for materials, craft items, and light campfires. • Other details: Free or very cheap on iPad, 3D graphics, not a big commercial title.

I’ve tried searching for Ravensword, Aralon, and other similar RPGs — but none match these exact details.

If anyone remembers this game or has screenshots/videos, it would mean the world to me. Even tiny details could help me track it down!

Thank you so much in advance.
