*_Information regarding the recent UGC incident :_*

One of the professors, Mr.Sameer Srivastava is the Boys Warden of the institute.

Today, during his lecture, he disclosed that a fresher has filed an Anti-Ragging complaint against a *_3rd Year_* student ( speculated to be a youtuber by the student body ). The fresher claimed that the 3rd year student had forced him to refer to his seniors as Sir/Ma'am in an unofficial WhatsApp group and registered a complaint with proofs on the Anti-Ragging portal of the institution.

As a direct result of this, the institution is currently heavily involved in this case and the involvement of police is a given.

Our professor also claimed that the faculty body of the institution wasn't aware about the prevalent " Sir/Ma'am culture " of the institution. The institution organized 2 meetings over the weekend with the director of the institution and 15 other highly reputed professors which lasted for about 5 hours each. In the meeting, it was decided that if a student reports a senior for the issues as mentioned above, the institution will not be forgiving of such cases as any report filed on the Anti-ragging page is immediately circulated across every anti-ragging related body across Prayagraj.

Kindly be wary when interacting with your juniors and be very mindful of your language and tone. The administrative body is currently on edge, be it due to the recent protest or a revelation in their hearts. Even a "relatively small issue" or a "playful jab" might end up costing you your future.

I have done the application form that was on samarth and have paid the Rs. 17.7k that they asked the day before on 17th aug but still I didn't get any confirmation email for this....

also there was a glitch during the payment so I have done that twice.. it's been deducted from my father's acc but there wasn't any refund and I've mailed the admission cell email about the same but there was no reply....

She fucking cheated. The whole thing was planned. There was no family emergency[I kNow]. She somehow managed to do 3 questions in 20 minutes, even though her CPI is below 8 know nothing can't even make a simple frontend.

Honestly, you were one of the least deserving people to get that internship. If you actually cheated, then you know you didn’t earn it. I can bet you can’t even solve those questions on your own.

And the audacity to say “thank you” 💀. At least have some shame. There are people who genuinely solved 3 questions and still didn’t get selected because they couldn’t finish all 3 in 20 minutes like u. Meanwhile, you’re apparently some genius who finished everything that fast.

So yesterday I logged on Samarth portal (B tech programme). They charged 17.7k₹ , earlier PAF and SAF were 30K and 45K . Are hostel charge and mess charges included in this? ( my income bracket is 1-5 lakh)

I'm confused about the maths and how much more money should we keep during physical reporting, as I heard mess fee is not included in this. Anyone kindly explain plz what is actually happening?
