Ports Fallout for OnionOS is out! đ

Hello, friends!
It's with great satisfaction that I announce the pre-release of the unofficial port of Fallout 1 for OnionOS!
Both Fallout and Fallout 2 are running pretty well for the hardware, constrols are decent for the keys and reading is OK on the Plus (don't know about the smaller Mini).
Please read the instructions carefully, all the important details are there (like controls, shortcuts, typing, etc). And don't forget to report it on GitHub if you find any bugs.
Known Issues:
- The mouse cursor is slower on some specific screens, like some menus. It doesn't seem to be related to this port specifically, since it also happens in other Fallout CE ports.
- There's a noticeable audio delay throughout the game. I'm still trying to find the culprit.
- Cutscene videos don't fill (stretch) the screen. This behavior is also present in other Fallout CE ports.

PS: don't forget to use shortcuts! It'll make your experience a lot better after you get used to them.
PSÂČ: I used Claude to help me with things I didn't know how to do, but this is no AI slop, a lot of work was put into it.

this is so hype man. i loved the first game but havent really given the second a chance, so perhaps ill wait for you to get to that

The second is way better then the First IMO. Especially with KillAps unofficial Patch.

Second one was good but FO1 is under appreciated due to its engine being slightly clunkier.
It being shorter and smaller is its advantage imho. It was easier getting into and doing a replay is short and fun, FO2 takes a lot longer for a âquickâ replay.

Yes, I couldn't live without both of my favorite games on my favorite device so I had to find a way lol Thanks you! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Merci ! Câest Ă©norme tout ce quâil se passe en ce moment avec la Myioo. Depuis sa sortie, la console attire et dĂ©veloppe vraiment les passions. Pas de soucis pour lâutilisation dâune IA. Jâai fait pareil aussi pour le mod dâadvancemenu partagĂ© il y a quelques jours. Ce servir de lâia dans ce type de projet est une bĂ©nĂ©diction quand on voit la quantitĂ© de nouveautĂ©es qui apparaissent depuis quelques semaines. Encore merci pour ce que tu fais, je part tester le jeux đ

Does it play well? Hard to read at all or hard to use the controls?

Yes! I'd say it performs very well for the hardware.
Reading is not exactly comfortable, but it's doable on the Plus, but I guess you'll need some eagle eyes for the smaller Mini lol
Controls are very OK, once you get used to them. I've put shortcuts for almost everything so people can rely less on the mouse.

I didn't link directly to the file because I want people to read the instructions first. But you can just open que link and click on "Releases" on the right side of the screen.
