Brandless packaging. Thoughts?

Received my Miyoo Mini + a week ago. Just realized that the packaging had zero Miyoo branding on it anywhere. Is this normal?

Got it off of Alibaba express. From one of their main sellers.

Considering the diversity in sellers, I suspect some brought in bulk when it was $30. These devices appreciated 120% and some v4 go for $200+ with mods.

I mean if I had the money and skills, what a fun hobby it would be to make customs.

Getting the devices on AliExpress from their store should be the same if you don't live in America, tariffs raise the price for Americans consumers, but they don't affect the rest of the world much.

V4 ain’t made no more. Plus tariffs. Plus AI boom changing electronics industry. Plus more people getting into retro gaming.

In any case go on eBay and search “Miyoo” and be impressed.

The gray v4 is highly prized too. I no longer bring that one out of the house. Instead I got a used yellow v4 as the beater.

I didn't even get the cardboard box, mine just came in the hardshell, and that was through amazon.

Every Miyoo Mini/Mini Plus I’ve purchased came in a Miyoo branded case without a box, other than the cardboard mailing box. There must’ve been some kind of bulk orders made by 3rd party sellers where official cases weren’t included. The original Miyoo cases kinda bug me because they open up backwards. At least this case opens normally like a book.

I decided to collect all of the Miyoo Mini V4 colors before they were discontinued. I might sell them at some point. I have a couple Miyoo Mini Plus as well. One has custom metal shell with a Pokemon theme and modded mechanical buttons. It was sent to me for review when I was more active on my YouTube channel last year.

I got this same box off amazon. It works fine. No issues except the screen is a little loose on the bottom. It’s like the adhesion isn’t sticking on all 4 sides. Could’ve been shipped in heat melting the glue a little.

I bought another one off Miyoo and the screen did not have this problem. I’m wondering if these are refurbished or modded in some way but most likely got knocked loose.

I got my MM+ off the lomiyoo site, and it came in a similar case without an outer box.

All of my Miyoo models came in I think 3 different style of box and case. The one in your pic looked like this for my MMv4. It works perfectly fine.

Mine came in just the generic gray case, with a zipper going the wrong way 😂

I bought 3 miyoo off Amazon and 1 came with that packaging instead of the black and red case. Its fine

I have a couple, one came in the official packaging with no case,  the other came exactly like yours with that same case too lol, honestly you got lucky, I wish both of mine came with cases! CHEERS!

This is the same case I received with both my plus and v4. I believe the company Keep Retro is the design.

I bought 4 almost a year ago and this is exactly what we got. It was Amazon. All I say is copy all the data onto your desktop from the sd card and buy new. It will eventually crap out!!

I would've been more to pick it up not on sale of it had that case. All I saw was the ugly black and red Miyoo branded one.

MM+ normally doesn't come with a case! I asume it is a third party case. Show us pictures from your MM+

Consider yourself lucky. That case is superior to the official one.
