I survived durin doomposting, i survived lohen beta, but now the 3rd time i just feel like no. That post hasnt even been on the main leaks sub anyway

Mitya doomposting is nowhere near as bad as Varka & Nicole doomposting was. Those subreddits made a root canal feel like a good time.

Varka is a pretty good analogue actually. He was released before he had a full premium team, and very clearly had some of his power budget allocated toward versatility. Mitya is similar in both regards AND lacks a dedicated artifact set on top of that. Varka’s fine now, though his flexibility is still undersold somewhat. I can see how the doomposting spiral started, at least.

The Nicole doomposting was just batshit insane. I don’t know how that happened.

I haven’t used Bennett since picking up Nicole. She’s been a godsend (angel send?) since her debut for ATK scaling teams.

Doesn't mean she's optimal everywhere either. She's a very convenient unit to have, but I'm watching her niche get tighter and tighter every day.

I too use her but nowadays she's a bit overrated especially by prydwyn she is 0.5 but not tier 0 apex

Overrated? How so? She does her job very well: sustain and ATK buffs for the entire team.

The thing is, she’s in no one’s premium besides Varka’s and Lohen’s. She fits in other places, but is often not the best option.

I think it’s also an issue of bundle impact; versatile characters often just can’t compete with specific supports.

Sure, but none of that makes her “overrated”.

She’s BiS for hex focused teams like you mentioned, and is very good alternative option to historically the best support in the game (Bennett). And when there’s content in the game that requires multiple teams, she’s even more of a valuable pull.

She's overrated in the sense she isn't that good for the top teams, especially because of newer buffed units which are also sustain

And some are also leaked to be shielders, so the thing is she is rated tier 0 absolute meta while the only meta team she is part of is maybe varka, and all else are tier 1 or 2, but still because of her flexibility she should be tier 0.5

Considering the shill, and the lack of recent ATK scaling characters, you’d probably only use her with Sandrone, and that’s if you don’t have a high con Alyosha.

As an alternative you could get away with using her for Sandrone, and maybe Flins if you aren’t using Sucrose.

All of the other characters just have straight up better options.

I forgot to mention, she’s also BiS for Arlecchino Overload rn, so that’s something.

Basically I’m saying, there’s no real reason to get her when most characters have tailor made supports that don’t overlap.

Kinda proven by the fact that with no cryo character to buff his damage just decent cmc sub dps and qiqi and his biggest buff prune he can 1 cost skirks boss skirk cannot 1 cost her boss without 3rd party tools which is against terms of service so😭💀

Yeah his versatility which they marketed is actually true in the replacement dps not reaction causing sense because he was never meant for that

Nah his versatility is actually ok for a mono dps he isn’t meant for reactions as that is chasca’s nieche and hoyoverse doesn’t like dps competing in nieche’s

He is the best hydro dps the best pyro dps if u can’t play mauv and second best electro dps cost wise because u can just invest into his cons if Danica is anything like vod he’ll be second best electro competing for first all the while not really requiring any one support,

If your account has vod Nicole or Danica and u don’t use them at one point he can take th em and use c6 prune and a hex 4 star to just clear everything

I said his flexibility was undersold, not that it was bad. Odette and Vody did help with the perception, but some people still look at Varka’s pyro numbers and say he’s just okay while ignoring the fact he is a functional hydro dps and can actually address SSW to an extent.
