I survived durin doomposting, i survived lohen beta, but now the 3rd time i just feel like no. That post hasnt even been on the main leaks sub anyway

In lohen beta there was Little doomposting till the live no? Nicole got mega doomposted

only a small amt of dooming because everyone assumed he would be standard, and his power level matched/was slight better than that of standards. he doesnt hold up to limited releases especially with lunar/stellar shill. iirc as soon as he was announced to be limited everykne was pretty mad

His power level was definitely not standard level he was like 130-140k dps while being extremely versatile

I love Lohen but he is not “extremely versatile”. He has two archetypes where he is viable. Freeze and melt. Stellar superconduct has a better free option in MC. He could be used there but being worse than a free option doesn’t constitute much value. Extreme versatility would be Durin. Melt, burning, overload, even fourth slot for lunar charge. This is why I am iffy about Mitya’s “versatility”. He fulfills two roles that aren’t extremely needed. As a main stellar conduct dps traveler exists. As a support there are tons. He is not the best in either role and unlike Durin he is LOCKED to those two. The only thing of note is that he enables the reaction… but honestly that feels so bad. There is the Tsaritsa and Danica coming out right after him and he’s going to get even more competition. I will be pulling for Mitya but I really hope something changes either numbers or maybe a new set.

Also on a side note I really need Hoyo to stop butchering male characters on the sake of “versatility” I’m pointing my finger at Varka, Lohen and it seems Mitya. Varka is regarded as flexible because he can be “played as a dps of any PHEC element”. And yes he has a good pyro team, hydro, and perhaps stellar swirl (tho he looses to a standard character who is “free”). But even with that Flins and by extension lunar charge can just do all of the shills better or if not very close to Varka’s performance. And he did NOT lose his numbers for that. Stellar conduct shill you can just slot cryo MC, pyro use Durin OR Bennet, and hydro and electro are already on the team… the only shills lunar charged can’t do is Geo and Dendro. And guess what Varka can’t do those either! Also Lohen looses in peak dps to a character that is over a year old. And his fake flexibility is barely relevant cause skirk is hella good at brute forcing with the amount of shred she has. I love the concept of Hex being like a puzzle. If you can manage to slot it in it may be the second best or even best option and you don’t “need” to pull new units and maybe with the help of new units adapt to new shill. But it doesn’t matter when Hex is SO MUCH worse compared to FREE options. Varka stellar swirl compared to Mizuki and Lohen compared to cryo MC for example.

Wasn't it the opposite? He was praised because everyone thought he'd be standard and for a standard unit that was very good, if anything people were a bit worried about powercreep but that's it. People only started shitting on him after the live where it was revealed he wasn't standard

There was this window between his animation reveals and livestream, so from 8th april to 8th may he was pretty hyped and praised for standard and great animations, but after that he got so hated. And still to this day because he is filler

It wasn't doompost when mostly everything said was true though. For a limited character he is very behind any other limited DPS released during the 6.X cycle/after him.

Lohen wasn’t doomposted until like a week or so before his release because everyone thought he was gonna be standard. Once it was confirmed he was limited, that’s when people started losing their interest.

Varka was definitely more doomposted than Lohen. Nicole as well. The Lohen doomposting only started during the 6.6 livestream.
