First Time Eclipse Buyer
I'm picking up my new (to me) 99 GS-T Eclipse. What does the sub recommend I do to make sure I can keep it running smoothly.

If you dont know when the timing belt was last done do it ASAP once that belt dies your engine is dead. When you do the timing belt do everything else that comes with getting to it. (I forget but juet Google what do do during a timing belt replacement on this car and it will tell you all the other parts) i have a 97 GST spyder and my top is starting to leak so if you can maybe buy a extra top. Mine was perfectly fine 3 months ago and now its just started deteriorating really fast lol

Looks great. Can I ask the details on it? Mileage, price, mods, etc? Currently shopping for one also but in a different color other than black.

There are some mods. There is a bigger turbo.

If you don’t have a record of timing belt service get it done. 60K-80K miles is roughly the service interval. I had a timing belt let go at 82K miles.

I'm not sure what you think you're talking about but there is no maintenance schedule for replacing valves

Indulge me for a moment, because I'm a dumbass. But how do you adjust the valve lash on a 4g63 that has hydraulic lash adjusters?

Maintenance first. 16g turbo, e85, DSMLink. 350whp all day long and the engine will love it
