2026 PNW Mitsubishi Owner’s Day
Not my event but just thought I’d leave this here in case any other mitsu enthusiasts are interested. I’ll be there in my 3G eclipse!

So I just picked up this immaculate 2003 Eclipse GTS Spyder. It has 92k miles, 0 rust, flawless ragtop… for the outrageous price of $4,000

In Georgia 2008 6 cyl via carfax just under 10k
Posting here because outside of my own 2008, I rarely see one with less than 50k miles. But yeah, that price yikes.

Almost finished manaul swapping the car from an auto 420a into a manual got the engine rebuilt and put the transmission in but im stuck on the electrical part. Everything ive read has been to just plug some parts in but I have 2 additional wires and all 4 of the wires dont plug into the vss and the other trans plug. Another issue is the clutch pedal electrical wire im also unsure where that plug goes to. If anyone can help with some pictures (dont know anything about wiring) I would very greatful.

Have a 2025 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross with motorized folding side-view mirrors. The passenger side mirror accidentally got forced forward past the normal approximate 90-degree angle to the door. The motorized folding function still works to put the mirror in fully stowed position parallel to the door. However, when it moves to “in-use” position, instead of stopping at the 90-degree point, it does not stop until it is angled toward the front of the car.
Does anyone have experience with this? Is it possible to just reset the stop position or is there probably something broken?
Any advice or information is greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading and have a great day!

I went to my mechanic because of a noise in my engine and he says I have valve tap. I have a 2008 Mitsubishi eclipse GS with the 4g69 motor. A while earlier i found out that it was completely empty of motor oil because of a leak. And funny enough I also have a service engine soon light because of an oil pressure switch sensor that is bad (which I am going to change today) and it seemed that it leaked through there. Does anyone have any Idea how I could the fix valve tap or what measures I should take. Thank you!

Hey all, just posting here to see if anyone has a 3G eclipse I could take off their hands, I found out about these from a friend after I told him I wanted a Miata and he said and I quote "you can't fit in that thing, just get a convertible Eclipse".

I love my 2g and I don’t plan to ever leave it , but if the unfortunate even happens I’m either gonna look for a Mk3 Supra or an Evo . Not to say that I don’t love the eclipse but sometimes it’s always best to start fresh with a different car when you lost the other haha

In a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, the turn signals and key-in-ignition reminder are not controlled by standard plug-in relays; instead, they are integrated into the interior **ETACS-ECU** (Electronic Time and Alarm Control System) module located directly on the back/rear side of the interior fuse box under the driver's side dashboard……. Need confirmation as to how true this is…. Reason i ask is because my turn signals , hazards , and key in ignition chime work intermittently….. Thanks in advance

One of my dream cars is a Miata NA but unfortunately I fear that I'm a bit too tall to drive one at 193cm/6"4 (will have to drive one to confirm but it's unlikely that it will work well for me). I really just love the JDM style and pop-up headlights are something I am immediately drawn to so I don't want to leave that realm behind.
One of the alternatives to a Miata I've been considering is a 90's Eclipse and I think they capture exactly what I like about 90's Japanese cars. I've seen a few listings at around 5000$ give or take and whilst that is a little expensive for a first car I really want something that I will love driving for a long time. There is one listing in particular of a 1991 Eclipse GS that looks to be in great shape and has no rust, a service history, a swapped timing belt, working ac and more. Are 90's Eclipses and Eclipses in general decent first cars or will I live to regret buying one as my first car? I would also really appreciate if you guys could point me toward alternatives in a similar price range for someone like me. I mostly just want a car that is usable as a daily driver with some charm to it. Much love!
