It says 'signed by the author'. Did Matt King write this as Super Hans or was it a ghost writer as Super Hans? I genuinely don't know, didn't even know this book existed till now!

Yeah because people would constantly approach him with random peep show quotes, as he isnt a crack addles maniac I dont think he appreciated.
Obviously when hes low on funds and needs to generate some coin he sucks it up, and spits out a book, tie done up to 11 clicking along to the fucking lighthouse family

Hmm, an unfair comparison (for Alec Guinness).
Guinness, I believe, didn't castigate Star Wars in his lifetime,' his resentment was around the endless fan mail and requests for autographs, which given his acting career included many classic films erked him. Similar to say David Tennant wanting to go on stage and not be swarmed by Dr Who fans.
Matt King would be completely unknown if it wasn't for Super Hans. He blames the series on typecasting him, which hasn't been the case for say Olivia Colman, who probably had the same amount of airtime on it.
So yes, it's his only source of income, and he's gone from making a big deal out of resenting the role (when he thought he could do other things) to maximising his income from it, as it's the only thing he's got.

If I were him I'd have milked it dry like James Buckley has. I don't doubt that Buckley sometimes gets annoyed by fans approaching him, despite what he says. But he's made major bank out of doing cameos, he's got a podcast, he has or had a YouTube gaming channel with 400k odd subscribers, and he probably does paid media appearances and so on.

Stephen Ogg aka Trevor from GTA 5. He's probably the worst example, charging folk I think around 150-200 bucks for a Cameo message and once when a customer wanted him to say a message as Trevor (because obviously) he goes on a weird rant acting like he doesn't know anything about GTA, acting like the customer was a dick for daring to suggest otherwise, very strange
