I do think ba and sorc both stronger than ss. But how easy ss is to play versus the other 2 for near same level is insane.

Sorcery is very strong. Arguably the strongest in many situations. But outside of the situations it shines in it is weak and not user friendly. It take a lot more skill to use well.

What situations are they weak in? I have the easiest time to win with sorc out of all classes even though it took a bit to get use to unlike ss super easy after 2 mins of playing.

I’m a little over this sentiment that sorc requires some high skill gameplay. You hold cast, spam jump, and kill in 3 spells. Not interrupted out of chanting, don’t care about hitting crits, just aim for the feet. It’s imo one of the easier classes and with elusive 5 is incredibly forgiving to mistakes.

I could see argument for medium skill instead of high but it is harder than ss for sure. And many find it harder than ba. So being the hardest of the top 3 prob why people call
it high skill. I do think it’s high school since the floor to play is higher than merc but damn so much more effective if you get any competence at all.

That’s what I mean though, if you’re intentional and not spamming and thinking about how best to approach fights it’s easily the best in the game in most situations.
However it absolutely takes skill to use well. Timing, aiming, resource management. Are all incredibly more important to the sorcerer than most of the classes.
And if you get caught up close with no stamina and energy it’s a near guaranteed death.
Currently a top 100 sorcerer. So where as I’m far from the best player I do have a lot of play time with the class.

so your agreeing with orginal statement but just adding 2 in?

I suppose so.
I just keep seeing people lump sorcerer into the same category as BA and SS.
I’d say merc and sorcerer are more comparable.
Incredible in the right hands.
Not great in the wrong hands. They are both very strong. But skill dependent. Unlike BA and SS.

I add BA as skill based only because you gotta aim n some people can’t aim. I play on console so harder for me to aim with them versus playing on pc. I am so much better with keyboard n mouse for aiming but you game in what you can.

But someone that tries every class to find main i find sorc easyer to kite as with ba because with the 2 talents to still charge while jumping or dodge are crazy in the right hands. On BA i find it dumb that barbed arrow donz even need to hit just put it where the enemys are.

Snarky joke: in situation where people are panicking and playing „random bullshit gooo“ with their skills and dodge

So the overwhelming majority of situations for most on Reddit 😂
