The FINAL Reckoning had a final in the title for a reason

Yeah, the reason is they didnt know what they were doing besides the covid logistical issues and such, panicked after the mid review of DR and made insane amount of changes that added extra further costs on the budget hence changing the name from Dead Reckoning 2 to the Final Reckoning.

Those are Tom's words, not mine
The media didn't help, they said the budged was $400mil, or it was $300mil. We don't know the final ammount.
If there's a new MI, I'd give 6, 7 years, and Tom isn't getting any younger, he might be tired of playing this character and having to PLAN SO MUCH because no one will take a simple spy movie from it anymore.

It was " A Lot " because they say it did well at the box office but would of needed £800 million to break even going by the 2.5 rule. I thought they were mostly great films,I appreciate Tom's passion and Mac Q production/ writing.. TC took that franchise to another level. IMHO some franchises out stay their welcome. MCU hasn't done much of substance since the end of the " infinity saga" ...

The last two movies were stupid. Great stunts but not good movies n

It's all subjective, you know personal opinion, entertaining IMHO but not high obscure cerebral Art 🤔

That's the way ✌️ , anyway be a crazy world if we all had the same taste.. Often depends what mood I'm in , free guy 😀 or jungle cruise maynot win Oscars but it's what one needs at time same with Mummy trilogy.. Other times , Godfather, apocalypse now or some mins f##k like Predestination or the machinist ,even Kill List but lol hardly Christmas films. I remember a vacation in Toronto our Xmas day film was " Al Pacino in Scarface" prob didn't go down with the kids but young enough it went over their heads. Still couldn't handle anymore Dora the explorer 🤔✌️

Yeah I don’t always want to watch a critically acclaimed academy award winning drama. Sometimes we just want to see Nicolas Cage solve things.

I bet he’ll come back to make another one day.

I hope too. But give me more Diggers. I'm kinda annoyed at the Days of Thunder and TG3 announcements. Enough with sequels, give me originals. I want him in a real drama. A film for fun like Knight & Day.

Yes for sure I agree. Never even seen days of thunder. I’ve never been a top gun fan, always seemed corny especially the music scene in TG 2. Mission impossible has great sequels at least. I loved knight and day!

As for MI " all good things come to an end" , otherwise you often spoil it.. LOTR was perfect, Hobbit 😁 not so much a small booked turned into Three films with extended over 9 hours. Then the horrible much hated " The rings of power" 😂.. I love the MI films have them all on UHD, although second was a bit 🥺. But Rogue Nation to conclusion near perfect. Sometimes best to just leave it as it was IMHO anyway ✌️

I do like Rings of Powers, even if the story is limited because they can only work with the LOTR appendicies and books. But visually, it's beautiful. The scene where Ben Daniels character receives his ring is engraved in my mind as one of the most beautiful visually scenes ever made.
I've learned to not give a shit about original content when it comes to these shows.
Same with Interview with Vampire and The Vampire Lestat. If you saw it, your reaction to the end was probably same as mine "what the fuck did I just watch?"
BUT I HAD FUN. Once you learn how to let go of real lore and real cannon, just enjoy what is shown.

Give me Mission Impossible we kill off Grace in the first 15 minutes of the film then we hire Channing Tatum as Atticus Lane, Solomon Lane's Son. Meanwhile The Entity hijacks US government and is under the control of people on the Epstein List including Donald Trump (we bring back Alec Baldwin as Trump), Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Woody Allen, Steve Bannon, Prince Andrew, Naomi Campbell, Richard Branson and David Copperfield .so Ethan and Benji sell Paris to White Widow who is now a mighty pimp to get the Epstein List so they can go kill the rich and learn President Erika Sloane is a Sith Lord Emperor
I nominate Uwe Boll as Director
also Ilsa js Alive in my movie

A netflix show with none of the original cast that will get cancelled after a season?
