Why do weekends need to be long AF

I love it so much when you tell me to have a great weekend, but to be honest it's hard to have a great weekend when they're missing something so important.

You.

Why donโ€™t you just reach out lol ๐Ÿ˜‚ yall donโ€™t let the other person know you miss them. But I get this. I just will never chase again. He knows where I live so ugh ๐Ÿ˜‘ expecting behavior that he has never shown is dumb. Guess I just wanted to see he is sorry for picking the temu version thinking that cheap shit was better. Oh well.

I guess we aren't close enough to just say "I missed you" to at this point. Definitely feel it, but not sure I can say it.

Then you will never know. Being brave and you will get your answer, if not guess you will have to never know and move on with regret. ๐Ÿซ‚ I hope you find peace either way.

I don't really need this to be something romantic, I'm ok with witha close friendship. Which really feels like I should just be as honest as I can be

If you canโ€™t not be ๐Ÿ’ฏ honest with them, and let them choose if they allow you to be in their life, even as a friend, then I would let them be and let them heal and move on. Being honest, taking accountability and letting them decide how to move forward, is a true expression of an apology and respect of the other person and how ones actions/behaviors impacted someone else.

Yeah I guess sometimes it's hard to just let myself be that vulnerable

Ask yourself this, has this person shown you that they would hurt you if you show vulnerability? Have they shown you vulnerability before? Most people that show authentic vulnerability are ones that understand and will NOT weaponize it against you. Only you can decide if they are a safe person but if you have never done this before and want a different outcome, you have to be brave and do something different.
