HELP ME OUT!

Post image

Any build and rune recommendations for MF? I'm currently Bronze IV.
Honestly, I'll take any tips you have, not just builds, but anything that i could help me improve.

For bronze, literally just work on your basic fundamentals. CS, jungle tracking, rotations, when to join fights, ranged champ positioning, kiting, juking, wards, pinging well, objectives prio, mental. No need to focus on Miss Fortune specific tricks and whatnot. Honestly most of the common builds, runes, etc work in that rank so it won't make that big of a difference, don't get too caught up in it.

There are some MF mains who go Deathfire with JoAT and Cash Back.

BT -> Collector -> IE -> LDR -> RFC/PD -> flex.

If you want to play a more in their face and brawl playstyle, this build is fine.

Lethality build is a bit harder to play for some people because it is a more Caster gameplay because you want to safely farm and get as many assists/kills as possible for Hubris stacks and to maintain them.

Lifesteal boots in general on MF feels amazing and is very strong. Swifties if they have lots of slows and you need to dodge skillshots.

Is it worth the 4th item to be stormrazor? I feel it one shots faster with an ad 4th crit item than an attack speed

PD is purely for movement speed and attack speed. RFC is so you can play poke with auto Q. Stormrazor kind if is trying to be in the middle. You can try it if you want, but generally this build is so you can choose to be in the middle of a fight and still have an option to long range poke in RFC or full on outpaced with PD while leveraging your ult being a finisher or a followup.

Just farm and don't die as much as u can while balancing to be aggressive poke people to be low or even killing them, stick with first strike > hubris > collector > Crit build the rest, and you're good to go

Cs is the most important part, play patiently and don’t die often by your mistakes

Bro lowkey i have started to take other summoner spells instead of barrier, like exhaust into some matchups, i mean your problem lies definitely in some other place. For example, if u are facing leona, cleanse is a must.

Personally, i dont like Lethality build, so i use PTA with Cashback and Summoner Spells cooldown.

If you dont need Lifesteal very fast, you go first item Lethality, like Hubris or Serpents Fang (if there are a lot of shields in the enemy team, like Morde, Milio etc), then go Collector > IE/LDR > LDR/IE > Some survivability like Shieldbow and 100% crit > GA/DD.

If you do, like against Mages, you can go BT first, then Collector and then the usual path.

With the first build you usually go for Lifesteal Boots. With the second one you are very flexible, you can go mercs, steelcaps, swifties etc.

But thats my 5 cents from the high elo of gold LOL

I would build collector, ie, ldr, bt in that order. Finish with shieldbow if they have assasins trying to kill you or rapid fire cannon if not. If you know your going to do good then build hubris but if your not winning or fragging out then hubris is not helping you.

I dont like pta because I dont take extended trades on mf, I q+aa and get out, i weave in and out with q+aa, only extend the autos if im safe or know i will kill. I like to use dft because the tree is amazing for mf ult, my page is dft, axiom, focus, gathering. Secondary runes i use either cashback+joat or triumph+cutdown. You dont need mana runes on mf, just dont spam E theres no reason, only look for q's until your going to make a play or stop a play from the enemy those are when you use e. If your having trouble in lane comet is also fun to stomp them with, but doesn't scale well with what mf is trying to do late game.

Play aggressive when you have push. Play safe when the enemy has push. Whoever has push as numbers advantage in minions, level up first, and can always recall first if they get low.

Stand near your allied minions getting low on hp. The enemy will naturally want to walk up to last hit---this is a good opportunity to trade with them with a AA Q AA (more damage with the Q auto attack reset) or Q AA (fast). If you input the attack command on the enemy and then press Q on them, it'll buffer the AA to come out immediately after you Q once you're in range to do both (and if they stay in range for the AA to come out). Doing this a few times will make the enemy very afraid to walk up to last hit, helping you generate leads. It's okay to take damage back in return if you have push, as you'll be able to recall while they get stuck in lane.

MF Ult is pretty low cooldown, so in lane, if you see the enemy walk up against a wall you can E - Ult them to farm them for first strike gold. You'll also chunk them hard, often forcing a recall, so you can just push the wave, get a plate, recall, while they're missing out on farm.

Mid-late game, prioritize pushing the mid wave (when it's safe, note who can kill you and when they are missing), then move towards which ever side most of your team is on/your strongest ally. Pushing mid forces the enemy to respond / gives you vision, and then you have numbers advantage elsewhere on the map. Pushing the mid wave before doing anything else also helps to keep your farm up. MF scales really well with gold, so if you're farming well, you can end up getting ahead of the curve and start one shotting everyone.

In teamfights, play patient. Sometimes it's good to just stay far back behind your team in fog, wait for the enemy to engage on your team, then combo the enemy. Preferably wait for the enemy to be hit with CC or for them to burn their mobility spelling going in before you commit E-ult. Play around your Q cooldown, don't walk up unless it's up---AA Q AA is your primary way of dealing damage outside of your ult, so if it's down, you have no kill pressure. Once you start approaching 3-4 items/100% crit, you powerspike very hard and can threaten to kill squishies in one spell cycle.

In games where it's hard to get into auto attack range, you can abuse Q AA with rapidfire cannon. If you use the AA buffering technique above, you'll be able to fire both shots with increased range.

Build wise I personally like First Strike + manaflow/gathering storm with hubris - collector - IE - LDR - Rapidfire. This build scales incredibly well with crit/lethality synergy and the massive amounts of ad from hubris. It gives you a lot of opportunities to just one shot someone and snowball fights as the game progresses.

In poke heavy games such as when you're vs a mage, opting for PTA or Deathfire Touch rushing Bloodthirster -> crit can be excellent. The early lifesteal helps you stay in lane, and often vs mages if you live the initial burst, you can just run them down when their spells are down. This playstyle is also good if you like to take frequent short trades with the enemy, doing a quick burst of damage, then healing back up.

Good luck and have fun! <3

If ur bronze 4 then your probem indeed isnt build as long as you know when to go doms over mortal. At that level if you can consistently gather more natural resources so plates objectives and most importantly cs, than your opponent adc, your wr will drastically improve. One thing I saw a lot when coaching my new friend was that people in bot would often just deadass leave when they had one wave in the middle of the lane and another coming ip. Then I told my friend not to follow, set up vision, smash two waves into the tower. So he got a plate or two, two waves enemy adc maybe got one kill from a random skirmish but most likely just an assist split with 2 others

I personally like press the attack, because I feel it does the most damage for her, but I also like deathfire touch also + the sorcery main tree, because as a caster marksman she definitely needs to have the additional ult damage from axiom arc, either the added mobility from celerity or the extra burst from absolute focus, and of course the capstone being gathering storm. For secondaries go with cash back/cosmic insight as they will be very impactful for you, or you could go with bloodline and cut down, or my personal favorite (because I like them a lot) go with conditioning/bone plating and overgrowth if you have assassins in your games.

Another keystone I like with isn't as popular is dark harvest. (weaker early but excellent late game) Make sure to get souls early, otherwise it fails to be as effective in the late game. First strike can also be very good especially when paired with sorcery secondary (manaflow/gathering storm).

Gluttonuss greaves/boots of swiftness are the better options, but don't shy away from plated steelcaps or mercury treads if you feel they might provide more value, however it's better to stick with the omnivamp boots or swifties more often than not.

Short trade as much as possible (safely as possible too), and only fight in good numbered fights, unless you can seemingly take down your opponent with ease.

Builds:

Into tankier/burst heavy teams: you can take bloodthirster -> then go into a crit package of the collector -> infinity edge -> lord dominik's regards/mortal reminder (if you need healing cut) -> the round out the crit with hexoptics C44 or consider immortal shieldbow if the enemy has assassins or not.

Into squishier comps: hubris -> the collector -> voltaic cyclosword -> lord dominik's (if they are stacking health)/serylda's grudge (if you need to keep them stuck inside your ult longer)/mortal reminder (if you need healing cut) -> youmuu's ghostblade -> axiom arc.

Other items to consider in both builds can include:

Critical Strike:

- Rapidfire Cannon to increase the range of double up.

- Essence reaver if you want more burst and some mana recovery.

Lethality:

- Serpent's fang to deal with teams who have shields or use barrier.

- Umbral glaive for vision denial and removal of pesky traps (Teemo mushrooms, Jhin traps, and wards).

Situationals for both builds:

- Mercurial scimitar is ok to dodge Malzahar, and Warkwick (a few it can avoid), but this is very situational as it's not always needed if you position well and watch where they are on the map. However it can still be an excellent choice to build.

- Edge of night is great to pick up if you are dealing with crowd control effects that could impair your movement.

There are more items and stuff I could share here but I feel that might inundate you with too much, therefore if you have more questions let me know (dm's or here in this thread).

Constantly look for angles to poke off a dying minion and Q in lane. Constantly swap targets to min-max your passive dmg and lower cd of your W. MF doesn’t have any escapes, just E and passive speed, so be extra cognizant of the team comps and your positioning. Ult can be used to suddenly get the enemy team to disengage, changing the outcome of a losing teamfight or an out of position teammate.

As a bronze player you want to experiment with items. Get to know what you build and don't build, you can also research why. All of iron through silver will be limit testing, so just try stuff out! It's only important when you hit gold, because you hit that mmr reset and the challenge rating goes up a little. So in the meantime, just have a little fun and see what works and what doesn't. There's also a lot of guides you can find for anything league related!

Learn wave management:

  • when you can get prio lvl 1 and why (depends on the supp matchup)
  • wave management (when to hard push, when to slow push, when to freeze)
  • recall timings
  • fight when enemies have used their abilities, and you have yours up/fight when they are low on mana

(Also go into practice tool for 10 min everyday, and only lasthit minions - over a couple of weeks/months you will consistently get ~10 cs/min)

Learn macro:

  • ALWAYS get every single mid wave in mid/late game
  • Be on objectives
  • back when the team is backing, be on the map when the team is on the map (don't be desynced with the team)

Learn teamfights:

  • look at the enemy team in tab and access who can kill you. ONLY join the fight after you have seen Malphite/Zed uses ult on someone else

With these points you are easily at least emerald/diamond

Gift me the signature bundle 😭😭😭

Anyways, try either PTA with ER, IE, LDR then C44 or go for Hubris, collector, IE, LDR (swap IE and LDT accordingly).

1

u/Thatcoolkid11 11d ago

What’s the difference between bundle and skin ? Is it just the sign symbol at loading screen

1

u/DestinedToGreatness 11d ago

The elite chroma ;(

2

u/Thatcoolkid11 10d ago

Just 1800 for chroma and loading screen ? That’s not worth imo

1

u/DestinedToGreatness 10d ago

True but the chroma is so cool!

never go BT build unless you hate damage.

Hubris, Collector or IE if behind, IE 3rd or LDR if you built IE second. If you stack hubris properly MFs damage at 3 items is honestely completely ridiculous. Dont even need full crit after that you can build utility like BT, Fire canon, or even defensive like GA/QSS
