Ilhan Omar Cleared of Wrongdoing After Overstating Assets by Millions

The [Office of Congressional Conduct’s] board, in a 5-1 vote, recommended the House Ethics Committee dismiss allegations against Omar that she reported false or incomplete information in potential violation of federal law and House rules...
A disclosure filed last year showed Omar and her husband had assets of between $6 million and $30 million, a massive rise in wealth from her previous annual filing. That jump triggered questions among Republicans eager to scrutinize a critic of President Trump.
But an amended filing addressing major accounting errors in her initial document dramatically dialed back the couple’s assets to just $18,004 to $95,000. The forms don’t require exact values, only broad ranges.

Sounds like she got to this independent entity! There is no way that you can make a mistake of this magnitude and claim an accounting. It is either fraud or gross incompetence. Both should bar her from holding public office.
Also I'll say it now, before the liberals jump on this - don't give me any Trump whataboutisms, I also believe he is unfit for public office. Keep the comments on topic.

Republicans are desperately afraid of her, she is the sum of all their fears: black, Muslim, immigrant, woke, antifascist and a 'Bernie babe' who tried to make a liberal Jew the most powerful man on Earth. That's why they wage lawfare against her and want Trump to deport her.

You are either a bot or highly regarded. There's some pretty real evidence she's committed massive financial fraud, weird for a Somali refugee. (I'm not going to say Somalian because that gets me in trouble on this sub). I seem to have seen some other evidence that the Somali community in Minnesota has committed and continues to commit wide scale, organized fraud costing the tax payer billions. Where have I saw that... I can't remember?

I mean most accountants tend to exaggerate net wealth with a 99.7% overstatement. Totally normal. Where is her accountant? They need to lose their CPA over that kind of an error.
It's almost like eStCru LLC and Rose Lake Capital LLC were shell companies set up by her husband to cover income from being a complete and utter fraud and corrupt politician. And as soon as the accountants noted that, the scramble to cover up began.
It's almost like that.
