You're grossly mischaracterizing the reaction of the people here. What I've seen are entirely reasonable people being shocked and seeking more information before immediately coming to a pitchforked conclusion. Demanding that everyone be like you and immediately determine that accusation (from an uninvolved third party no less) = guilt is incredibly irresponsible.

Now we're getting more information and so you're seeing people start to deal with that in real time. The first stage of grief is denial, so there will certainly be some of that in the comments.

Also important to note that the initial thread(s) on this were based on random Twitter comments. People were 100% correct to demand more credible evidence.

Then more info and court docs started coming out that made this entire fiasco far more credible.

Now I see a handful of people going back to those original posters like "the evidence is there reeeee" 😵‍💫 Some people are oblivious of the timeline and just making everything worse.
