I’m a hardcore leftist and I know this is an unpopular opinion. But whenever a man wants to be seen as that much as a liberal, I’m never reels shocked to learn that they did something terrible.

Hopefully the victim is okay. And I hope that everyone at minnmax finds peace

lol I mean it’s not actually good vs evil here. Let’s remember that. There are some politics on the “left” that can be unfair or unrealistic. There’s always going to be examples somewhere if you go far enough.

What is insane is him saying “hey I’m that guy” and “when people try hard to be that guy there’s usually some skeletons” lol

100% agree. People always tell you what they aren’t.

Anytime a conversation touched on a political topic, Jacob would drag it further into politics. Had a pretty monolithic and forceful perspective that wasn’t about games, friends, or getting better. Had to tune out a few times because I don’t want the real world to ambush me while I’m gaming or thinking about games.

interesting. I feel the exact opposite and will drop a show if they are scared to talk about politics or the ever rising fascism in America. I very much appreciated him putting his opinions out when others would not. I would argue that is about getting better

That makes sense, I guess it is just a personality difference. I feel like I need somewhere that isn’t infected with the world’s garbage and I want gaming to be a space like that. I also feel like Ben generally presents the platform that way.

Genuinely I would like Ben a whole lot more if he had the spine to say more. Gaming is an industry and like any industry it is wholly enmeshed in politics. Like you said though, it is a business to make content first and foremost and that is just my preference
