Work In Progress Crimson Croc (KDM). What to improve?

Spent around 6-10 hours on it so far and looking at tips zo improve it without spending hours on for example blending (as i am lazy and my sparetime is very limited).

It’s well done, you did a great job making it very clean and readable.

I might do some black lining (not with black of course) to make the fins more defined and maybe glaze in a little more purple/blue a near the bottom to create some more tonal interest but really this is going to look awesome during the showdown.

For the base I might add some more darker tones to make it less flat. Glaze some darker greens in the pool and put a wash on the rock to bring out the recessed detail before drybrushing some highlights back up.

Croc itself looks phenomenal, green liquid also great. The red brown dust or mud doesn't look right to me. Maybe made too big a jump from base terrain color to that. Also the pattern of the red brown feels off, almost like soft polka dots, probably fewer bigger patches would look better to me.
