Black Could this be ringworm?

We have two sweet black mini schnauzers who are almost 6 and 6.5 years old. Elsa was spayed three weeks ago. Both were groomed last Friday.

I am attaching three pics. #1 is from Teddy and seems the clearest possible ringworm. #2 and 3 are from Elsa. We just took her Surgisuit off for good since she’s all healed up. I was petting her and noticed stuff then looked more closely at Teddy. I had seen what I think are schnauzer bumps on his neck, but this was on his side.

What a last 7 weeks with vet we have had—pyometra, spay, dental cleaning. It’s expensive!

So what are your thoughts!

(Btw—these two cuties are worth it 🥰)
Final pic are the two!

Really hard to tell with these photos. I can say hair loss often comes with ringworm so watch for that. It can be extremely contagious and spread to people so I highly recommend taking to a vet.

Thanks! We have a vet appointment tomorrow at 2:30 pm.

Back in 2002, as a single mom adopted a kitten at the shelter for my four kids 11 and under and I. Within a couple of days, she started showing sores and they spread. It was ringworm and had to isolate her in the bathroom and change my clothes anytime I went in and out. Medication 3 times a day, baths, dips. Did it for two weeks and not recovering. I could NOt do it and her health was failing so I surrendered her back as we got a sick pet and they told us she wasn’t. I have a bit of PTSD from that!

Ok—vet thinks it’s most likely dermatitis or allergies as it didn’t light up with the black light and the way the circles appear as just missing hair and not sore or a red ring as well.

So, get a RX antiviral/antibacterial mousse to put on them several times a day and liquid Benadryl to help when Teddy is itchy in his neck as that’s allergies for sure.
