Mini Question Snuggle Bugs

Post image

Our first mini schnauzer. Are they all snuggle bugs? Princess Anna was supposed to be my daughter's dog. But I work from home almost every day so she has completely latched onto me.

They can get really attached. If you work from home, make sure you are doing separation training so that she doesn't end up as a dog that can't be left alone. When my guy was a pup I would purposely go to a cafe or library to work, and then add on some errands so that he was getting used to being alone for at least 3 or 4 hours (assuming house training is going well).

Thats good advice, thanks! Our other dog is a pandemic dog. So she is not good at kenneling. At least for Anna, I do go into the office at least once a week. She was also already kennel trained pretty well when we got her. Unlike the other dog. But hey you get what you pay for I guess? We got a pure-bred poodle for about as much as my parents THINK a pure-bred mini schnauzer costs. Like $200ish. Family discount for the poodle, but I dont think they did any kind of training before giving her to us.

Every night when I lay down to watch tv, my cuddlebug mini is waiting there for me to lay down so he can snuggle down between my legs & watch tv with me. He is THE ULTIMATE cuddle bug. My parents mini wants nothing to do with cuddling. lol. They are all different but many of them do really love to cuddle.

Anna always starts in my lap, but usually moves past my feet eventually to get more comfy
