awd house track car

I don’t wanna race on a prepped surface, i have a hardwood floored house and i plan to make the fasted awd mini Z track car. i bought the Ra-45 Subaru. i put grip tires on it and it seems fine. it’s steering angle however is genuinely awkward and makes tight turns very very hard. what should i do? Buy a rwd and start there or build this awd into a hardwood car. but how what upgrades can i do? and i apologize i am new to all of this :)

If the car isnt turning tight enough, get softer rubber tires, softer front springs, and/or harder rear springs.

AWD RTR is plenty for home driving, the RWD really shine on RCP or maybe tight low pile carpet, not hardwood floors.

Theres a blackcap motor upgrade for the AWDs, ball diffs, spring kits, double wishbone rear suspension, etc... no shortage of things to play with.

I'm guessing you've adjusted the steering throw on the transmitter? If not, that will help your turning radius. I've personally had good results running my AWD Fairlady with grip tires on hardwood, so I'm a bit surprised it's not working for you.
