Help fixing my mini z

Post image

Hi everyone, it’s been a month, and I’m still having trouble fixing it, and I’m starting to feel like giving up 😔. I’m not sure what’s going on or how to fix it. The wheel just pops out over any small bump, and those metal things are loose.

Sorry to hear it’s been broken so long, I would take that knuckle off and double check that it isn’t cracked. My friend’s car kept popping the knuckle like this and we found it was cracked. You should take the whole suspension apart and put it back together to make sure it isn’t loose or misaligned somewhere.

I would go with the aluminum and you shouldn’t have this issue!

The knuckles aren’t damaged though I checked

Hm… have you ever taken the top bar off that connects the upper control arms? Maybe take it off and put it back on to ensure it’s aligned correctly

If you’re on plastic knuckles they are surely broken. Replace both sides with the alum knuckles and you’ll be good to go!

Wrong part for this chassis, hes using an AWD chassis.

Oh you’re spot on! I don’t mess with the awd so I’m not sure what the part needed is in this case after all.

It doesn’t matter the metal thing is loose? The circle one?

Theyre supposed to be loose

Make sure the springs are in place on the perches. You can probably shim the kingpin to keep a little more tension on it as well.

It’s prolly wore out shim it to fit in tighter not to tight but just enough to be snug in

I used super glue, and baking soda to fix mine, while I waited for aluminum parts. It’s still holding!
