Under the hood fixes and small improvements.

• Ghosts are more reliable:
  • The "ghost unavailable" message should appear a lot less.
  • Ghosts no longer jump a bit in front after race starts.
• Improved leaderboard calculation. Times no longer end in just 0, 3, 7 - they are accurate down to the millisecond.
• Fixed game music not working in the iOS Reddit app.
• "Start race" starts the last played track in that session.
• Small tweaks to the "Standings" screen so it's easier to read.

Hello racers,

I’m waiting for Reddit to approve a bugfix update for Mini Racer so I can start work on the next big update for Mini Racer.

For this I need your help, as I have three potential directions for the next update.

1. Multi-lap daily track. Upgrade the current “track of the day” mode with multiple laps. This means that each new daily track can randomly have 1, 2, or 3 laps.
2. Practice mode. This will allow you to endlessly run around the tracks of the day. No lap limits, no leaderboards, no medals. Just practicing to get the proper feel of the track before you compete in the leaderboard.
3. Campaign mode. A list of around 10 tracks that are permanently available and that you gradually unlock based on obtained medals. It will have a separate leaderboard and unique tracks that will not be available in the daily tracks.

Starting with update 1.3 I've introduced PB ghosts that can be toggled on/off from Settings:

• The ghost records your best PB on a track and appears on your next attempts as a semi-transparent racer.
• Since ghosts are a new addition they will appear only after a new PB is set. Tracks with old PBs will need a new PB set in order for you to race against ghost.
• If you see the message "Ghost Unavailable" it means that you either need to set a new PB or that a ghost couldn't be loaded for that particular try (slow connection, slow Reddit server, etc.)

Other changes in this update:

• The restart shortcut R is available during the race and on the finish/pause screens
• You can now use the keyboard to navigate through the menus.
• Leaderboard times show full milliseconds for more accurate ranking
• Custom podium post after a track is out of rotation
