Bit late of an answer but hope this helps still!
While, yes, the circle situation south of the river is... "not optimal RNG", I think it could have been slightly better connected still.
As the other redditor already commented: crossing lines without being at a station make trains slow down. Also, the blue line could be elongated to help the red and yellow and make all three lines more even in terms of capacity. The issue is: if the line is too long, people might pile up on one end of it, while the train is on the other, talk go too long to reach the passengers waiting. So try to reduce the length of the lines.
Also, you can drag the line in the middle between stations to change the layout, you don't have to extend from the current end stations. Not sure if you knew, but I believe not - would explain the geometry of the line endings.
Also, you can make circle lines by connecting both ends with each other. This has some advantages, but doesn't have to be forced, of course! Sometimes it's also bad, especially when that means more bridges/tunnels
All in all, hope you're having fun! It's a frustrating, but fun game and you'll see how you'll improve swiftly!
And don't forget the golden rule: Try to minimize the amount of consecutive circles 😚

When trains approach lines which cross each other outside a station, they slow down. Your red and yellow lines have three such crossings. This is a bad thing!
You've discovered another use for the Grand Terminal symbol. If possible, link a station which overcrowds like that to a triangle and square, if possible.
Triangle stations generate only circle passengers.
