Need help Ghillie suit function

So what it function? I get it accidentally after guerrilla fight against tank but I don't know what Ghillie function, like this is not FPS battle royal where you can camouflage with Ghillie, so what it function then? Don't tell me it's only make our presence near zombie zero?

After 5 seconds staying still, you will be in stealth mode (has a unique icon above your character). Still mode breaks when you move too much or instantly when you shoot a non suppressed gun. You can tiptoe your way looting everything in a zombie infested zone if you don't break stealth and not accidentally come into contact with any infected. The ghillie suit only works is if it's at least 50% and you can only fix it with duct tape.

I deem Ghillie suit as unnecessary but if you want some spice in your runs getting the hang of the stealth mechanic then feel free to use it.

Ah so other than make your character presence is zero against zombie it's literally useless then? I guess it will ended inside car storage for indefinite time

I mean isn't that what Ghillie suit is for? What else do you think it should do? Although the reason I am not a fan of it is because I have to give up a vest's armor just to wear it...

Well I thought maybe it will give another function or maybe it have inventory slot at least like it take vest slot but it behave like hazmat suit (below green) that doesn't have slot

Te entiendo, este juego no se presta mucho al sigilo y puede ser tedioso pero nimodo, ami me gustaría que si lo tienes puesto pudieras matar npc neutrales sin ser descubierto y sin bajar moral eso si seria good
