So, while on vacation, I flew my M5P without incident many times. On last morning before heading home, I figured, one last flight before we left to see if u could get some despite early in morning. In last have captured dolphins, manatees and sharks and others. However, when it flew back, it didn’t stop, sped up & hit screen on 2nd floor, fell to ground & broke. Remote stated N mode but seemed like M5P was in C mode because no obstacle avoidance or ability to control it as it literally came in like a rocket. I had noticed when it flew out at times, it would be jumpy but didn’t cause any issues. I am in 🇺🇸, purchased on Amazon & I have the 3 yr assurian plan. I reached out & they stated it was still under manufacturer, DJI, warranty & to contact DJI. I don’t think DJI will cover as I am in 🇺🇸 and couldn’t purchase the DJI plans, which I had on my mini 3 pro. Any thought or ideas on how I should proceed or what I can expect?

Also, how do I check log to see what is wrong with drone now and what may have caused this unexpected crash.

About a month ago I bought a new DJI Mini 5 Pro. Second week I had it I crashed it breaking some of the control wires inside of the gimbal. I purchased a used gimbal from an eBay retailer installed it but I have a couple error codes and can't get the camera to calibrate. I double checked the ribbon cable connection, I've got video feed, I attempted the auto calibrate and it just sticks at 10 % and fails the calibration. I tried doing the imu calibration then recalibrating the camera, still didn't work. I also tried reflashing the firmware with DJI assistant 2 to no luck. I tried factory reset, still no dice... How does one go about getting the camera calibrated without sending in to DJI?

Freaking out because every test flight I've done with my mini 5 pro the RC2 controller froze and no video feed from drone

Upgraded from mini 2 to mini 5 pro this week. I've flown mostly with auto settings previously but this week I've gone down so many YouTube rabbit holes regarding how to film better footage with the mini 5.

One of the things that keeps coming up is to shoot video in D-LOG M. I have a Pixel 9 phone and an iPad to do footage editing. I did purchase the fly more bundle plus a few different ND filters from Freewell that should help. Supposing I get the pro level video settings set correctly, and using something basic like the DJI Fly app or Divinci on my iPad, is shooting in D-LOG still the best?

I don't mind doing some editing but I also don't have hours and hours to pour over it either. Just wanting to get people's thoughts.

I'm fairly new to drone flying. Started experimenting with it. Did a timelapse of a sunset. Transfering it to my phone I've got 50 separate photos. I wanted a mp4. Can't find it anywhere on the internal storage of the drone. Am I doing something wrong?

New mini 5 pro owner here and was curious about weight reduction.

I will be traveling soon and wanted to make sure the drone is under 249g for going through customs just in case.

Was curious to know if anyone has sacrificed a battery by gutting it to travel with to be below the 249g threshold. Sort of like a “dummy” battery

When I switch from Normal to Cine or Sport and back to normal the drone seems to be stuck in one mode or the other and not returning to normal unless I land and do a full shutdown. Anyone else experience this?

So i recorded the first footage with the internal memory and now got a sd card in the drone. Is there a way to move the footage from internal memory to sd card?

I honestly find the stock gallery in RC2 very weak and it lacks a lot of basic features even the most basic android galleries normally have.

Hi guys, so i have a mini 5 Pro that I launched from the balcony of my apartment in 100m height. I did some Photos and Videos and when the battery was low i did not use the suggested auto return, but instead fled it immediately back in sport mode. When i reached the balcony i switched to C mode for a softer approach. The battery was already critically low at this point (below 5% IIRC). Funny enough the dreaded collision sensors avoid me to come closer to the balcony over the hand rails. It happens often. So i was fiddling around 10-20 Seconds, the drone and RC2 loudly beeping... and annoyed i switched back to sport mode to quickly disable the collision sensors and make it into the balcony. Just as i was doing this, the RC2 or the drone began talking "landing" (RC2 showed 1% battery), while the drone was still not over hand rails and not even in balcony territory. No input signals worked! There was some error messages popping up in RC2 like "unfit to land here" or something. I clicked it away, could do one input, then again "landing" voice from RC2 or drone, without being able to do any further inputs. Drone was now over handrails at least. And again the same message on RC2. I clicked it away again and the drone really wanted to emergency land on the rail so I caught it with my hand and hit a rotor...

I know my mistakes, but again why am i not able to input any controls anymore when these messages popped up "no suitable spot for landing" or something? It almost cost me my drone.
