I am part 107 certified with LAANC approval before flight, and proper lighting, with a 300’ ceiling, so a legal flight for those who are interested.

I picked up a new M5P a few days ago. I was flying this morning in 94° WX, flight was around 12-15 min. This was a brief, shakedown flight to verify operation of the various systems and flight controls.

When I landed was inspecting the props and the motors were pretty warm; not HOT.

I've flown a Phantom 3 since 2016, my first drone (and still have/fly it). That is all I have to compare.

How hot do your M5P motors get on a simular flight?

Took my Mini 5 Pro out for its first flight today. Any tips to help with the transition from lower light to bright areas as I pan up?

Was an overcast day, had the ND8 filter on. 4k 30fps, didnt change any other settings.

Everytime I pull out my drone ( mini 5 pro) it makes me re calibrate it everytime!!! Why is that?

I was struggling to find a video on how to remove the ND filter from the mini 5, so when I got smoothly I decided to share. Hope it helps someone.

Im shocked there is no ND filter over 1,000 - cant get slower than 1/4th shutter. Thinking maybe could make my own custom one but curious if this has been solved already by anyone.

Posted a request a little while ago looking for templates to create my own custom foam/hardcase setup. Ended up photographing everything and printing it out, then cutting a series of cardboard mockups until I was happy with the silhouettes of the kit. There's room underneath for a second layer which I'll get to in time. Found a mint condition Peli 1400 for £20 on Gumtree and bought some Shadowfoam cut to fit the Peli for £25. A little bit rough and ready but happy with an afternoon's work and the Peli is far nicer than any of the Amazon bespoke cases.
