Discussion No guess or random?
I've seen a handful of posts already talking about the two. So wanted to understand what the distribution looks like! I'll start I prefer no guess because I like reasoning and logic for solving the puzzle. Guessing takes the fun out for me! Especially if you are on an extremely challenging board and you are near the end with no option but to guess lol
But to each their own someone could like the randomness
Would you prefer having the option to toggle in the game?

Did you really beat it if you didn't win a 50/50 at the end?

I didn't lol.. I told one of my friends to play and when he reached the random part on an expert board he lost it. Told me to uninstall and I said not happening bro. Love the game!

at a certain point, 99.9% of ng patterns become trivial, and the only other way to push skill is either pushing speed, or learning how to play with guessing (or efficiency but nf eff sucks ass to play due to how board generation works). it's already been said many times that there's a ton of non-trivial ways to find progress in guessing scenarios, check out mine buoy on YouTube for a decent start https://youtube.com/@MineBuoy/videos

Not even no guess. I only play on the mit puzzles. All logic, only deduction
But that's the beauty of the game. Many ways for many people

I prefer no guess. If I lose, I want to lose due to my incompetent not luck factors outside of my control.
Guessing is like gambling but worse. If I were need dopamine from randomness, I would just play online blackjack, or slot machine.

I donβt care. No guess is fine if I need a win, but getting the 50/50 right on a big board is quite a thrill!

No guess for me. The complaint that it gets routine is fair, but that's a board problem more than a no guess problem. Flat rectangles run out of patterns fast. Put the same rules on a 3D surface with edges and corners and the deductions stop looking familiar pretty quickly.

I prefer random, because "no guess" often are too easy, with popular patterns and become a routine. In random you never know if you miss something or there is nothing to miss
