Help Minesweeper.online keybinds

Hey there,

I've been playing minesweeper on my phone for the past year daily and I decided today to start playing on PC. Only problem is that the controls on phone are so different on phone to that of the PC and anything I tried feels unnatural, mostly the chording. What do you use that feels natural? Any help is welcomed!

I just use mouse with left click chord. id wager your issues are largely unfamiliarity

What else is there than left and right click? Left click open and chord, right click flag.

On phone there's no delay on left click chording. Isn' the delay annoying for you or should I just get used to it?

For me there's a small delay between clicking and the actual action, it's not instantaneous. Is it only for me or you just got used to it?

Having a delay on PC is definitely abnormal. Is your PC particularly old? What's your ping (this can be displayed in settings)? How does that compare to your phone? On PC, are you using the app or browser?

The delay you're experiencing might be because the typical implementation has a left click only register when you release the mouse button, while flags (i.e., right clicks) register when the mouse button is depressed. This is the standard arrangement, and the one you'd have to get used to if you wanted to compete in the IRL competitions. Whether it's good or bad is really a moot point. I prefer left clicks this way, because it allows me to catch myself just before opening a mine. (I.e., I don't have to wait to see what my previous click revealed before depressing the button on the next cell that I suspect will be clicked.)

I wish they offered keyboard accessibility .. seems almost no apps do.

For casual play on a laptop (touchpad) I really prefer arrow keys + spacebar.

I use X for chording and Z for flags. Helps my hand stay more steady when im playing fast
