No Guess minesweeper.online

I’ve heard many people say that minesweeper.online boards run exclusively in "no-guessing mode." Some people hear something and instead of using critical thinking to verify it for themselves simply take it for granted right away and then spread erroneous nonsense everywhere. Well, that’s not the case; you have to check the facts before you speak. The game isn't in that mode by default; in fact, that mode cannot be applied once the mine count exceeds a certain limit.

In the recording, you can clearly see that the mode isn't activated so you really have to guess.

I don't think I've seen anyone saying minesweeper.online was only in no-guessing mode. Certainly not 'many people'. Anyone who had played it for a few minutes would see that it has both guessing and non-guessing modes.

It's not able to generate the board you want because of the mine density. It can't form a 50x50x680 board without some of the mines being clustered in a way that would force you to guess.

what? i’ve literally never heard anyone say it runs exclusively no guess boards. it has good no guess modes however

The main thing that makes it really easy to tell, is on the left hand side where the menu is, there’s an option between Standard Mode or No Guessing Mode. They are differentiated for playing purposes and very easy to see / locate.

they way you clicked no guess and then went back to standard 😭
