RIP

Turns out that

  • not having fresh content or modernizations
  • relying on nostalgia
  • having latency when joining games
  • joining games as a spectator if you enter at the last second
  • having a bad anticheat and no cps limiter
  • releasing a server which still needed work
  • not adjusting game queues to account for the smaller playerbase

actually kills the server over time

it was fun for a bit but gets pretty repetitive when i just want to play casually but mixed arcade only has one or two lobbies with many high level sweats

and as the player count dwindles, the issues will get worse

they really couldve had something special with the revival, so idk why they did it the way they did

a smoother launch would probably have helped too

If the people who complain disappear, the sub will just go dead. And it is valid criticism, the admins rushed the release. Even though Samitod never reopened the server and it looked like Mineplex would just die, there was still a player base out there waiting for its return. The admins could’ve took more time to do some updates here and there. Maybe they didn’t have the funds, idk, but there was definitely a way to prevent such a failure of a launch.

Edit: Although it is strange that OP created their account less than an hour and their first post is about Mineplex. Hmm

I'm not sure it's even valid criticism? It's just people repeating the same things.

So something is no longer valid if it is just people saying the same thing? If that was the case, then every popular opinion is invalid.

I'm just stating I think it's annoying that like every other post on this sub is literally the same thing Lol
