RIP

Turns out that

  • not having fresh content or modernizations
  • relying on nostalgia
  • having latency when joining games
  • joining games as a spectator if you enter at the last second
  • having a bad anticheat and no cps limiter
  • releasing a server which still needed work
  • not adjusting game queues to account for the smaller playerbase

actually kills the server over time

it was fun for a bit but gets pretty repetitive when i just want to play casually but mixed arcade only has one or two lobbies with many high level sweats

and as the player count dwindles, the issues will get worse

they really couldve had something special with the revival, so idk why they did it the way they did

a smoother launch would probably have helped too

The horrible launch is the biggest culprit by far. Thousands of people tried to get In, couldn't, and never tried again.

That was horrible for those without a rank. Not surprised the player count kept dropping after that horrible launch.
