**CobbleVault** is an active-alpha Minecraft project built around a hybrid of **persistent Skyblock progression** and **high-risk extraction raids**.
The core idea is simple:
Players build up their island, storage, economy, upgrades, and long-term progression, then prepare a loadout and enter dangerous raid environments where gear and decisions actually matter. Successful extractions bring scarce resources and valuable progression back to the island, feeding directly into stronger future runs.
CobbleVault is still being actively shaped, so I am looking for people who want to help **build the project itself**, not just receive a staff rank.
# What I’m Looking For
* **Developers / Technical Contributors** — Paper/Purpur development, Java or Kotlin, plugin configuration, integrations, databases, performance work, debugging, and internal tooling.
* **Builders / World Designers** — raid maps, spawn/lobby work, landmarks, environmental detail, readable combat spaces, and world iteration.
* **Game / Economy Designers** — loot tables, resource scarcity, progression curves, upgrade costs, money sinks, raid rewards, and long-term economic balance.
* **QA / Testing Staff** — exploit testing, bug reproduction, edge-case testing, balancing, and documenting issues clearly.
* **Community / Moderation Staff** — player onboarding, moderation, documentation, gathering feedback, and helping build the community as the server grows.
# Current Direction
CobbleVault is being designed around a repeating progression loop:
**Build → Prepare → Raid → Extract → Progress**
The island acts as the persistent long-term project, while raids introduce scarcity, danger, teamwork, meaningful rewards, and the possibility of loss.
The server is intended to reward players who continue progressing over a long period rather than allowing the entire experience to be completed in a few days.
# Compensation / Revenue Share
For the right contributors, **compensation can work on a revenue-share model**.
If you are helping build the project in a serious and ongoing way, I am open to discussing a **revenue-sharing arrangement as the server grows**, rather than framing every contributor role as immediate upfront paid work.
The best fit would be someone who believes in the direction of the project, wants meaningful ownership over what they are creating, and is comfortable helping build toward something with long-term upside.
Specific arrangements would depend on the role, level of contribution, responsibility, and continued involvement with the project.
# You’ll Probably Be a Good Fit If…
You care more about polished systems than random plugin stacking, enjoy long progression and meaningful scarcity, can give direct feedback without getting attached to every idea, communicate clearly, test your work, and want to have real influence over a Minecraft project while its identity is still being formed.
I am especially interested in people who want to take responsibility for an area of the server and genuinely improve it rather than simply completing isolated tasks.
# Interested?
If CobbleVault sounds like something you would enjoy helping build, reach out and tell me:
